— Separate gluten-free menu
I went to Chipotle tonight for the first time since my Celiac diagnosis. I saw on their website to let the first person in the line know that I have a gluten allergy and they would change their gloves. Well, I told the person at the front of the service line and instead of just changing gloves, she and the entire line removed their gloves, washed their hands, put on new gloves, changed out all the utensils, and wiped down the entire line! They were so nice about it too! My burrito bowl was awesome and I feel great! Thanks to Chipotle for taking my gluten allergy so seriously and giving me a safe place to eat out!
Yes
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
This is one of my favorite chains. Their rice is amazing and their chips are delightfully "limey.". My go to order is the crunchy tacos with rice, chicken, sour cream, lettuce and cheese. So good! Their corn salsa is very odd but good
Good tacos and bowl. Make sure to ask the person making your order change to clean gloves and ask that the same person make your order from start to finish, to help prevent cross contamination.
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
