She didn’t get sick but the worker insisted that rice had gluten. I don’t believe this is true but couldn’t go against advice.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Everything in the restaurant is gluten free except the tortillas. Tell them you are gluten free and they will change their gloves and make your burrito bowl separate. Lots of yummy combinations and options!

I have tried this several times and got really sick each time! I would not recommend going there at all!
Great gluten free options! Staff is willing to change their gloves and utensils upon request. Everything is gluten free except for the flour tortillas and the soft corn tortillas are warmed on the same warmer so avoid those or ask for them not to be warmed. Hard taco shells are safe as are the bowls. All salsas, meats and beans are gluten free.

The staff is not well-trained. I confirmed my order would be GF and then they proceeded to place my corn tortillas on the same warmer as the flour tortillas they just finished with.
Great selection of options. Online menu makes it clear what you can have.
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
