No one knew what gf was. No separate ingredients (as I’m use to in NY). Walked out empty handed because I did not feel safe at all.
I was planning to have a meal here but the entire restaurant from the doors to the floors to the bathroom were disgustingly dirty. I left and went somewhere else.
Almost everything is gluten-free and they will change gloves if requested. I've eaten here many times with no issues.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
The first time I went to to this location I had an experience similar to a previous reviewer where no one there understood gluten allergies/sensitivity. I ended up not getting my normal order since I was worried about cross contamination. I contacted Chipotle via email about my experience and ended up hearing from the store manager about my concern. He assured me that he was going to meet with his team about food allergies and the proper procedures to prepare food when someone w declares an allergy. I returned today (a couple weeks later) and had a much better experience. I will continue to visit this location moving forward. ..
I let the first person on the line know I had a gluten allergy and she just looked at me. I politely asked her to change her gloves and I was surprised, she seemed quite annoyed with me. I've never had an issue with this before! Wish I didn't have to worry about cross contamination here.
Although most of the ingredients on the menu are gluten free (besides the burritos) just be aware that there could be cross contamination. The staff will gladly wipe the areas off for you. Other than that, the food is awesome.
Yum
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
