Chipotle is my go to restaurant.

Usually won’t know what is gluten free on their menu. However, it is our job to check that the food will be safe for us to eat. They will change gloves and wash hands if you tell them you have an allergy. The only thing that has wheat is tortillas!!! You can’t eat burritos or the soft tacos but everything else is fine. Their app will also flag Gluten if you add it on your profile.

Changes gloves and pulled fresh ingredients for me! Just say “allergy” and you are set.
Yes
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Staff had no idea about gluten and couldn’t tell me if anything was gluten free and made it seem like everything was contaminated
No
After carefully explaining that I needed gluten-free options, and that I get sick when I eat gluten, the waitperson served me tacos in FLOUR tortillas!!! After eating a large bite thinking it was a corn tortilla, I was suspicious that it was flour, so I inquired again at the counter. She said ALL their tortillas were gluten free, clearly not knowing what she was talking about. Needless to say, I was very sick. Very upset because I had sought out Chipotle knowing that they specifically carrygluten free alternatives.

One of our favorite places to go. They always change gloves and utensils when we tell them it's an allergy.
Yes
98 percent gluten free
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.

Not celiac level gluten free friendly, unable to get food from the back and don’t really understand cross contamination!
