Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
If I could give negative stars I would. I stopped in on my way through town. I thought chipotle would a safe option. Nope. The place wasn’t busy. I ordered a salad. I got to the end to find out there was no dressing. If I had known I would have gotten something else. Next, I took a bite of the meat to find it was cold. As in it just came out of the fridge. I went to get a refund because I don’t have time for food borne illness. The manager ignored me completely. I left without a refund. My friend said her quest was cold but she was afraid to complain. The chips were completely stale. The whole meal was inedible. The tables were dirty, no utensils or napkins in the self serve area. I’m not going to chipotle anymore. The food has become unreliable.

As soon as I said I was Celiac the staff changed all the spoons etc, as well as the rice and lettuce containers and cleaned the cupboard area. I was very impressed with their service and had a delicious meal.
I came during a busy lunch hour on a Monday. Despite the line behind me, the employee stopped to change her gloves and wash her hands before moving forward. Because of the risk of cross contamination, I only ever order rice bowls and toppings that have a spoon for serving (vs lettuce or cheese where they grab with gloved hands that may have also touched flour tortillas). Great location and felt very safe here.

Great experience! Workers were trained and handled it so well! They put on new gloves, got all new serving utensils and got a new lettuce. Definitely would go there again! Had no allergic reaction at all.
