I’m a recently diagnosed celiac who hasn’t had the best experience eating out. When I went into chipotle I was nervous about telling them I’m celiac, but when I did the young man automatically took off his gloves, changed the utensils, wiped the counter, washed his hands and put my order together. Not only was he educated on cross contamination he and his coworker were so incredibly kind about the situation. It was the best experience I’ve had dining out as a celiac.

This location had very accommodating staff. Changed gloves, spoons, even grabbed new bins to avoid contamination. Helpful and knew the menu well. Food tastes great!

Great experience here! Walked up to the line and said I had an couple of orders for people who have Celiac. Both people stripped off their gloves and one went to the back to fill my order from fresh food.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
I’ve always been able to receive good food and great service from here.
Amazing GF selection, quick and easy!
The burrito bowls are very gluten-free friendly.

I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.

Not celiac level gluten free friendly, unable to get food from the back and don’t really understand cross contamination!
