I ALWAYS get sick at this chain. NIMA sensor found gluten in both the chicken and the beef.

AMAZING! I told them I was celiac and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Changed gloves, wiped down counters, changed utensils, got cheese & lettuce from the back, and seemed more than happy to do so. So grateful!
Yes
It really depends on how adamant you are about needing them to A) change gloves B) wipe down counters C) use different utensils for your food (has touched gluten shell when laying food down) D) making sure they give you the fresh options from the back versus the front Best of luck!
Yes
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Great gluten free options just ask.
If you tell them it's gluten free, they will cook the soft corn tacos wrapped in foil so they don't touch the same surface as the flour tortillas. They change gloves, and will even get lettuce, etc from a fresh container if you want. The same person will take you down the line so as to avoid cross contamination in adding toppings.
They do a great job at this location with gluten free!
They change gloves & seem pretty careful. Every once in awhile I come across a newbie, but the managers absolutely have it down (just ask)! They seriously have it down. Just tell them you can't do gluten.
We love this location. Awesome staff!

as someone with celiac, my only issue is that they warm the flour and corn tortillas on the same machine.

This specific location did an amazing job of being aware of cross contamination. The young lady who worked there changed her gloves immediately when she knew my daughter had celiac, washed her hands prior to new gloves, heated up her corn tortillas on tin foil and then took her order all the way down the line so no one else touched it.
What a dream! Love this place! Amazing food!
They change out the serving spoons from the already contaminated bins as well as gloves and sometimes they wash their hands too. They use new cheese, lettuce and anything they stick their hands in. Unfortunately employees don't really know or care. Last visit we got an eye roll and cross contaminated. Probably our fault for going on a busy Saturday.

One server wasn’t sure what I was talking about, but another knew what to do and walked her through it. Got new utensils, changed out gloves and toppings. They were patient and kind and the food is tasty.

This chipotle is hit or miss. Sometimes they follow all allergies protocols and sometimes they don’t. Don’t order online

When I walked up to the counter, I asked the tortilla employee to change her gloves because I have celiac. She immediately did, and THEN went above and beyond and changed ALL of the utensils I needed, without me even asking.

Totally clueless about celiac gluten allergy protocol. Tried to explain changing gloves, using new containers of food etc. It was like pulling teeth. Finally changed gloves but wouldn’t get food from fresh containers. Another employee rolled her eyes at us when we asked for the cheese to come from a new container. My kiddo was definitely glutened tonight. It is not safe for celiacs unlike other chipotle restaurants. Unacceptable
