To minimize the chance of CC I got a bowl with just rice, beans and fajita veggies. The server washed his hands and changed his gloves before hand. Was tasty and no reaction.
Been back a few times with success (Nima Smiles). The evening shift seems to be more aware & knowledgeable and willing to get Fran ingredients from the back.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
They change out the serving spoons from the already contaminated bins as well as gloves and sometimes they wash their hands too. They use new cheese, lettuce and anything they stick their hands in. Unfortunately employees don't really know or care. Last visit we got an eye roll and cross contaminated. Probably our fault for going on a busy Saturday.

One server wasn’t sure what I was talking about, but another knew what to do and walked her through it. Got new utensils, changed out gloves and toppings. They were patient and kind and the food is tasty.

This chipotle is hit or miss. Sometimes they follow all allergies protocols and sometimes they don’t. Don’t order online

When I walked up to the counter, I asked the tortilla employee to change her gloves because I have celiac. She immediately did, and THEN went above and beyond and changed ALL of the utensils I needed, without me even asking.

Totally clueless about celiac gluten allergy protocol. Tried to explain changing gloves, using new containers of food etc. It was like pulling teeth. Finally changed gloves but wouldn’t get food from fresh containers. Another employee rolled her eyes at us when we asked for the cheese to come from a new container. My kiddo was definitely glutened tonight. It is not safe for celiacs unlike other chipotle restaurants. Unacceptable
