This place offers dedicated gluten free and vegan. We didn’t eat there, just found it. I will go back next time.

Do not come here if you are gluten free! They cannot guarantee anything is safe, including labeled gf items on the menu. They have gluten free pasta which they boil in the same water as the regular pasta. Just a big NO!

They are ill informed at this restaurant about what is celiac safe and gluten free. Over the phone they say everything that is marked gluten free it is celiac safe.
At the restaurant when explaining that we have a celiac and someone who is allergic to gluten they rudely asked us to immediately vacate their table so they can seat someone else.
Gluten free items are not celiac friendly because they use wheat flour water.

I made a reservation for my daughter's birthday because of all the gf items listed on their menu and said in the reservation that my daughter had celiacs. Fast forward a week later we show up for reservation and the hostess says oh we have a small kitchen and we can't guarantee that it will be gluten-free or that there won't be cross contamination. We are now 25 minutes away from home scrambling to find a place that is safe to eat. Beyond fustrated. This establishment should not list gluten-free when it's not. Thankfully, I found a restaurant nearby and explained our situation and they gave us a private table and sat us right away. I would not recommend this place.

Not safe for celiac. The waitress told me that they boil the GF pasta in the same water and the regular pasta and refuse to use separate water. They actually all but told me I should leave because nothing on the menu was safe. I heard them say the same to the table next to me. Super rude and uncomfortable experience especially since they make it seem safe from marking things GF on their menu.

Not safe for celiacs. They even boil the gluten free pasta in the same water as the gluten pasta.

So this place is not safe for Celiacs, sadly. They were very nice there, however when I asked about the clearly marked Gluten free pasta on their menu they said it boiled in the same water as the other pasta. I asked if it was possible to prepare it in a fresh pot of water and I was told it was too busy that night.

GF menu items are clearly marked. I had pasta and minestrone soup - both were great and arrived really fast.
Excellent food and waiter was great. Any pasta dish can be made GF

Was very upset to find out that they boil their gf noodles in the same water as regular pasta! Very let down after looking for a GF friendly restaurant and they can’t even accommodate another pot to boil water in. Ended up getting the salmon and it was extremely undercooked and the sides were cold. Very upset.

I’m so sad to have to write this review, but I think it’s important for all those with celiac out there to read. We went to this restaurant around 5pm on a Thursday - purposely at a slower time when we could ask questions and make sure it’s was a safe option for me and my daughter, both with celiac. Although the menu clearly had GF options marked and the previous reviews on here were stellar, the waiter informed us that if we really have “true celiac disease, allergy, then we should know that there is a risk for cross contamination with all their dishes and there are no guarantees.” He went on, “I’m sorry but that’s what I have been told to say so you know the situation.” We asked to speak with the manager and he reinforced this message stating, “our kitchen is so small, there’s flour flying everywhere. The meat and fish is prepared right next to the pasta, that’s just the way it is. We are a small Italian restaurant, we can’t really help it.” They stated that even the GF options carried a risk. I was shocked they didn’t talk about their careful food handling procedures or how they would attempt to prevent cross contamination or the previous celiac patients they have served successfully. I was SO disappointed and ultimately we decided it was not worth the risk, so we left without eating there. I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because although I couldn’t try their food, I appreciate their honesty. I truly wonder if they have had some celiac patients get sick recently so they now have changed what they say to customers. I hope this review helps others.

Amazing GF food and service! We all had different dishes and everyone raved about their meals.
Lots of gluten free things on the menu. They do not have a dedicated kitchen but the staff is knowledgeable and do their best to keep things safe. I had the risotto, burrata, salad, mussels, and artichokes and potatoes. All soooo delicious. The menu clearly lists the gluten free dishes. And some can be made gluten free as well. Highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back to eat here soon. Also, big portions which are great to share.

Meal was fantastic - authentic Italian and great knowledge by the staff!
I had a risotto dish and it was to die for. The waitress told me that any of the GF pasta dishes aren’t safe for Celiac because they boil the pasta in the same water as regular pasta. Lots of options though!

I had the special which was Sea bass with potatoes and the most delicious roasted artichokes I’ve ever had! The food was delicious as were the drinks. The waiter was super nice and helpful as well.

Delicious. Ate here with my grandfather who is also celiac. Food was delicious and neither of us had a reaction. They were very attentive to our needs
Wonderfully accommodating for gf! The pasta dish I ordered was the best meal I've ever had.
I thought they did a good job. They had gf pasta and promised to be careful.
It was very good food! Great service and very fast to arrive at the table. My only negative was that their chairs were uncomfortable. I'd eat there again.
Great food and ambience but totally cross contaminated kitchen. Got an app of roasted veggies and the salmon dish. Was flushed and glutonized shortly after. Again these dishes are wheat free, not gluten free.
Was so excited to celebrate my 30th with gluten-free pasta and ended up getting sick later that night. Disappointing because the reviews were so good!
Excellent staff! Completely accommodating for my wheat allergy. Their pasta is cooked to perfection and the sea salt mousse- out of this world!! Excellent menu options, pasta, salad, a soup and desserts, gluten free! Plus the staff is just so friendly and funny.

Very knowledgeable about Celiac and gluten free. Exceptional customer service. The Caprese salad is amazing as well as the gluten free pasta. I asked about the dedicated fryer which I saw from previous reviews, I was told there wasn't a dedicated fryer. SO I am not sure about that.. But will definitely return next time I am in SD.

They were very aware of gluten-free needs. Their corn-breaded calamari was superb and their gluten-free penna was awesome. Service and hospitality was amazing!
Amazingly delicious food. The manager came over and spoke to me about my needs, explained about the designated GF fryer and how most items could be made GF. I'm only in the area for a few days, but I will be back before I head home!
