Clyde's Drive-In

Edited to add that we went back to Clyde’s and did not have the same positive experience. The person taking our order explained their protocols to avoid cross contact but those were not followed because my celiac daughter is very sick. I know that mistakes happen but we will not be returning.

We had a great experience at Clyde’s! When I asked for the gluten free menu, they explained their protocol to prevent cross contact. The eat-in area is small but you can watch them prepare the food from most seats. The oil had been accidentally contaminated earlier in the day so we were unable to get fried foods but we appreciate that the staff was aware and told us. The burger was delicious!

They have gluten free buns as options for their burgers and a dedicated fryer for their fries and sweet potato fries. Ask for the separate gluten free menu. It has gluten free chicken tenders on it. They are so delicious!! I didn’t get sick at all. I would definitely recommend eating here!!

Great burger with GF bun and fries! No issues when I asked about a gluten free meal. My food was brought out separate from the rest of my group and all burgers are wrapped in paper.

Excellent celiac safe! The cook changed her gloves and used a plastic paper to make my burger. The owner's daughter has Celiac Disease so they understand gluten free and celiac.

Looks can be deceiving! There is no mention of gf on the regular menu, but once we asked, we were given a gf menu that was great! They have gf buns and a dedicated fryer. We enjoyed our meal! The parm fries are delicious!

Celiac safe and excellent food! I contacted the business via Facebook to ensure safety. They were so kind and the dedicated frier was true. The owners daughter has celiac and they educate their staff. ❤❤❤

Awesome burgers, dedicated fryers, gluten free buns. They understand celiac here, and even wiped down the shake machine for me. The best gluten free burger I’ve ever had.

This place is a hidden gem for gluten free food! I never would have expected to find gluten free at a hole in the wall place but they have a large gf menu, a dedicated frier and are very familiar with celiac and know to keep food separate. The food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!!

Great surprise to find a safe GF meal! Confirmed the have a dedicated fryer. Burgers, grilled chicken, several different types of fries to choose from. They took prep seriously. This 50+ year old business will have us coming back!

The owner's daughter is celiac, so they are very disciplined about protocols. Dedicated fryer in addition to GF buns and chx tenders/nuggets for the kids. Awesome eats, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience! They have a dedicated fryer and the owner's daughter is gluten free. We had mini tacos and fries. We could have had burgers as well, but we chose well! Our non-gluten free kid enjoyed his meal as well. Definitely worth the stop!
