Perfect pizza. I hope they add more choices!
GF pizza is pretty good. Some of the best I've had so far. Not to be too picky, but they don't list anything else as gluten free. I haven't yet asked a server about this - for now I've only placed my trust in the pizza.
Good pizza, friendly staff. The pizza was cooked on it's on tray and comes out with your own sealed gluten free labeled pizza cutter to avoid cross contamination.
The old reviews say the pizza is served in an aluminum container. This is no longer the case. I have had GF pizza served that way from other restaurants and I didn’t care for it. But Coal Fire’s pizza is my favorite GF pizza!! It’s delicious!! I makes me feel like I don’t have celiac and can eat regular pizza again! Their large garden salad and homemade Ranch dressing along with GF Pizza is awesome!! If you’re missing pizza give them a try.
WAITSTAFF was friendly, assistant manager thought he knew what he was talking about, turns out even though he has training in gluten free stuff, he has no clue. He tried to tell me that I was wrong about gluten and wheat allergies (I think I would know what I'm talking about, I've been living with celiac for 15 years). Anyways, was insulted by him and also contaminated as well. Should have walked out after his comments, but hungry and pregnant I didn't listen to my gut.
Yes they have a GF pizza crust... but that's about where it starts and ends. I watched as the same oven paddles were used for both GF and regular pizzas, and I could definitely tell when I ate my GF pizza that there was cross contamination. I mean the pizza was delicious... but this kind of defeats the purpose of paying more for something that still causes discomfort.
Additionally I was pretty put out when I had to pay full price for my 10 inch GF pizza during happy hour when my friends got their regular 12 inch pizzas for half price. I asked but the answer was simply NO.
my dad wanted to come for dinner and I was nervous after reading reviews of their gf pizza. I went expecting very expensive & horribly tasting pizza. not the case at all. their gluten free pizza was not bad at all!! I liked it. and it was reasonably priced. ($11 something for a 10 inch) the only thing is you can't get toppings because of cross contamination!
Excited they have a gluten free pizza but it was not that good. It was too expensive and got a small pizza that came with almost no cheese on it and only a few pieces of veggies. The crust was ok but would not come back for this
