Gluten free items marked on the menu. Waiter was very aware of gluten free. Unfortunately one meal came out with a sauce that had gluten. It was remade. The manager came out and was very apologetic. She paid for the entire table and we didn't have to pay for anything. They went above and beyond to make it right. And the food was delicious!
Took over 10 minutes for someone to come to our table (not busy-all sergers were just chit chatting amongst themselves). We asked for dinner menu which only had 3 things labeled gf. I asked if chef Byrd was available bc we were gluten free. He said no and walked away. Wasn’t going to pay those high prices for terrible services and nothing gluten free mentioned in previous reviews! We left without ordering. Very disappointing

Chef Richard Byrd came to the table and addressed not only my celiac, but my Dad’s onion allergy as well. He not only caters to celiac, but will work to accommodate a meal free of any common allergens if needed. You can tell he truly wants dining out to be a gift of life for anyone. The hostess asked me if we had allergies before we were even seated. He trains other staff members in allergy free food prep- he understands cross contamination, and has a dedicated GF fryer. He was an absolute gentleman and joy to work with- and the best part? I enjoyed not just a raw platter...but fried oysters, mahi mahi bites, and fries. Hot, fried, delicious, GF food! They were phenomenal all the way around. Delicious food that will keep me feeling good the rest of my trip. I am so grateful, if only everywhere could make dining out such a treat for a celiac.
I felt like we were in Disney!! Chef came out to discuss allergies and told us our options. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Oh and it has an awesome view and flourless chocolate cake!!
Beautiful setting, great food. Server very knowledgeable. Chef came out to speak with me and go over choices. I shared the raw seafood platter and then had fish tacos in lettuce wraps with Parmesan fries. It was delicious!
