Ordered the Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken. After ordering the came back to day the dressing wasn't GF so we were able to switch it out for a lemon vinegarette.

Nothing is marked GF on the menu, but when I told her I have celiac she assured me most things can be made GF and are prepped in a separate area to avoid CC. When they brought out my meal, it was brought separately from the other dishes and he clearly stated it was the GF meal. Soo good and a really beautiful spot.

This place is amazing! My waitress was super knowledgeable about celiac and even said they have a separate preparation area (make sure to say you have celiac and not a gluten allergy) they will take food prep very seriously. Almost everything could be modified to gf! I got the ceviche, chips/salsa with plantain chips (tortilla chips are in same fryer) and then the chicken tinga tacos. All were delicious!

I would recommend eating at Coccoloba ! The manager RP was extremely nice and made sure the kitchen prepared everything without risk of cross contamination. I had so much good food (tacos, rice bowls, salads, catch of the day) all great and SAFE! I actually felt on vacation because i didn’t have to cook once. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 5/5 stars. We will be back whenever we have the chance

2022 update: The staff is very knowledgeable on celiac disease and the kitchen is very accommodating. The fryer is not safe, but if you want french fries, they will make a separate pot of oil to cook them fresh and separate. I have eaten here multiple times, and have never had a reaction. Highly recommend for people with celiac disease!

The tacos can be served on corn tortillas a m nd or waitress was very aware of what wad sage and not safe. The fish tacos were good. This place is right on the beach. We're also had an appetizer with pl as brain chips a.c nd it was good. I didn't very sick.
Staff was very knowledgeable. Brought me plantain chips to eat the dip platter with b/c of cross contamination in corn chip fryer. I’m also dairy intolerant and waiter said i could order what o wanted and chef would make necessary accommodations. I had smoked chicken tacos and it was on of the best Mexican meals I’ve had (and we eat a lot both at home and when we travel)! It was so good I would even go back a second time in our short 8 day stay.
Chef Fernando did a terrific job of guiding us towards celiac-friendly dining options. My (celiac) son claims the short rib tostada was the "greatest thing I've ever eaten in my life!" Kudos to the Chef and to the knowledgeable waitstaff. To boot, the open-air beach setting can't be beat!
