There are several great fish dishes that are gluten free. Our son also has celiacs and he is super picky. He was able to have a cheese quesadilla (not sure if it was prepared on a separate skillet).

I called ahead and spoke with the manager. He told me there was no gluten free menu but can cook certain gluten free items. I asked if he can have them clean area where they will cook my food and do glove change? He said no guarantee and if I have celiac not to eat there. All he can offer me was something from salad bar.

They no longer have a gluten free menu, when I asked for one they said they lost them. The server did share a couple of dishes that she thought were gluten free, but it took me asking additional questions like “Do you use regular soy sauce? Or gluten free tamari?” She wasn’t sure and seemed to be a bit annoyed, but took the time to ask the kitchen. I ordered a tuna poke salad and it was fine with some modifications and was brought out separately from the rest of our tables food which contained gluten. Everything worked out ok, but definitely felt like a bit of a gamble.

Update 2019- I changed to 3 stars because they have said they can’t guarantee anything even the things on the GF menu. Fried items can be cross contaminated and not safe for celiac but they are on the menu anyways. They used to take much more precautions and I think they have become too lax and are no longer celiac friendly. Still an awesome location to have a drink on the intracoastal but I would caution eating there unless you speak with a manager and can feel confident with what they tell you

Though they have a Gluten free menu and do try to avoid cross contamination, they do not have separate prep space, pans or fryers. They cook all food with the same space, kitchen tools etc therefore this is not safe for Celiac folks. You may not see immediate affects but it will cause symptoms.

I do not recommend this for Celiac.

When I told the waitress I had celiac she said, "oh you're gluten free?". So she got me a gluten free menu but I had to reiterate I had celiac and I wasn't simply "gluten free". She was pretty rude when I was ordering, I think it may have been a language barrier but she kept telling me they can't guarantee no cc and I would say just please make a note and she told me see it's on the menu not guaranteed, and then walked away. I was told dedicated fryer for fries, and I got grilled Mahi. She was nice and made comments about make sure you don't eat that and such after, so again may have just been a language barrier. I am a new to celiac and traveling with friends and just felt pretty defeated.

Nice place. Great for sunsets. Gluten free menu. But no dedicated fryers, therefore NO fries.

Beautiful location. Offered gluten free menu. Asked servers many times about gluten free. They said the fryers were separate. I felt confident eating there. Now we are home and my Celiac child is vomiting.

Great food. Dedicated gluten free menu. They do have French fries listed. But it's not a dedicated fryer, so if cross contamination is a problem for you, beware!

Server did not know what gluten was but was very helpful and verified everything with the kitchen. Things that are typically gluten free contained gluten and most things are fried or come with a sauce and all sauces contain gluten (not just the obvious sauces, but even cocktail sauce, pesto, bbq sauce, tomato ginger relish, etc.) Choices were grilled fish or steak. Grilled fish and peel and eat shrimp were prepared well and very good, but not much else for options.

First time visitor but won't be our last. Super busy on a Friday due to the boat show but had a table within 20 minutes. GF menu with many options but I opted for the special--grilled grouper with crab. Server requested the sauce on the side for me and advised me not to risk it as kitchen was unsure. The grouper was grilled perfectly and did not need any sauce. Husband had the gluten filled jambalaya and raved about. The portion was huge and easily could serve 2. We will go out of our way to eat there the next time we are in ft lauderdale. Side note: it was incredibly loud inside.

The restaurant itself is beautiful because we were outside but the food was not very good. The service was not the best. Their guacamole was expired. Overall it was not a very good experience.

Great place! They had a large list of gluten free options. This was about 1/2 mile walk from our hotel, Marriott harbor beach resort. The crab claw (Scoobies) appetizer was amazing. Everyone loved their dinner. It was a fairly loud restaurant however.
