Server misrepresented the bread as gluten free - when questioned, she assured it was gluten free when questioned multiple times.. Turns out she was misinformed - i trusted and ended up poisoned. The manager was apologetic. Strongly recommend against this restaurant - hard to trust the food will be what is promised.
WoW what a wonderful restaurant/ great food and super friendly staff. Very careful about gluten allergies and lots of delicious choices in the gluten-free free menu.
They do not have a GF menu but the server and chef were very accommodating. Have have additional food allergies and they were great. Food was delicious and service was good. Nice view of the water.
huge selection of allergy friendly and gluten free meals! Our server Yade was extremely accommodating for my gluten free requirements and they made a safe meal for me! We came for my mother in laws birthday and they made it such a pleasant and wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to all!
Some of the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. Had the filet mignon and 1905 salad and got glutened. Both items were on the gluten free list and made sure to tell them I had Celiac. It even came out on a special plate. Still got cross contaminated somehow. I would avoid if Celiac.
AMAZING experience. There is an entire allergen menu that is huge and lists many allergens (lactose, peanuts, gluten, shellfish) as well as gluten free cocktail menu. My entree even came on a designated allergy blue plate so I knew it was prepared separately. Wish I could have gone there every night!
Good food, staff knowledgeable about gluten. I asked if they could add scallops (cost extra) to my shrimp and yellow rice and the chef was nice enough to accommodate. Loved the simple chopped tomato salad but would've been much better if they chopped the tomatoes into smaller pieces. Didn't get sick.
The worst service. Even though I had a gluten-free menu I had to keep reminding her she gave me gluten free bread. Waitress on friendly never even told us her name and you always had to look for her if you wanted something.
Good food. Separate GF menu that was horribly written. It was in no particular order. Appetizers mixed in with deserts and entrees. I had never had Spanish food before and had no idea what I could safely order until Fred our waiter came over and saw my frustration and sat down and pointed out everything on the regular menu that was safe. Delicious food but they need to update their menu.
Not only were they accommodating, but it was the most delicious meal out I've had in a year. When everyone received bread as a starter, the waitress brought out plantain chips. The Mahi Mahi was awesome and so was the view. My only wish is that if it wasn't so loud. Portions are huge and I only ate half, which made for a great lunch the next day.
Terrible experience. Bad service, not safe, below average food. The waitress did not write down our order and was very frantic. When the food came out, my mom’s (Celiac) was not the correct dish she ordered. It came out with plantains (fired in a shared fryer) and not on an allergy plate. Our waitress went back and came back in less than 2 minutes with a new one on an allergy plate. We think she just moved it to an allergy plate and removed the plantains. However, the dish was still not what she ordered and when she told the waitress, she said yes you did order this. My mom very nicely tried to jog the waitress’ memory on how we ordered and the waitress said “whatever” and walked away. Did not offer to get my mom anything else or apologize for any misunderstanding. My mom did not feel comfortable eating what she ordered so she ended up splitting my filet (also Celiac). It was a below average filet and we both felt bad the next day (likely cross contaminated). On top of that, no one at our table of 6 ever got a water refill throughout dinner.
The food is great here, and there are a lot of options on the menu clearly market gf (just have to ask for an allergy menu). The server wasn’t quite aware of safety standards but assured me she would speak to the kitchen and clearly mark on the order when she put it in.
