This is my "go to" and I absolutely love it. I have the most "normal" dining experience here and don't feel deprived as the GF menu is so extensive (front and back!). The servers are knowledgeable, and they even have a fresh baked tasty GF bread loaf they bring with butter when they bring bread for the rest of the table. I was told the owner's wife is Celiac and they have a totally separate preparation area for all their GF items so I've felt very safe re cross contamination and I've never gotten sick. Also great wine and GF dessert options. 10 out of 10 in my book!

This place is fantastic! They have a gf menu and Server was very aware and made recommendations. She said the kitchen staff were made aware and order is marked. I had the Risotto with shrimp only as I’m also allergic to shellfish so no scallops for me. It was fantastic and everyone else in my party enjoyed their non-gf food. Plus you get wine tasting and recommendations for pairing.

Staff was very accommodating when notified half our dining party was gluten free. Decent options, they said they have a printed menu but we both used their online menu.

Great with allergies and really good food. I do takeout a bunch and its good too. Make sure to pick the GF version if you order online. Also they tend to forget things on takeout like salad dressing so check your order! Also gf bread is so nice to have

I had broiled grouper and I really enjoyed it! I was worried about coming here but our server was great and told me they have a separate ticketing system for GF orders that flags them to go through an allergen protocol. Can't wait to try out a new dish on our next visit

Ate at the Reston, VA location last night and it was a terrible experience. The service was sub-par, however, the worst part was that I was blatantly glutened!!! There were 2 pieces of gluten-filled gnocchi in my supposedly GF chicken primavera pasta (which is prepared with certified GF Barilla pasta) Needless to say I am sick. Thank goodness my intolerance doesn’t cause me to be to be hospitalized. I know that many others would be much worse off then I am. Their GF menu is extensive but I will have a very difficult time convincing myself to go back. So disappointing.

I decided to check this place out based on the reviews. I ordered the chopped wedge salad, Mexican drunken shrimp, and short rib risotto. Everything was excellent. They even brought out gluten free bread. I highly recommend this place!

This was my third time eating here md I’ve had a great experience every time. There are lots of choices on the GF menu from entrees, pastas, burgers and salads and the wine is quite good as well. I’m really glad this restaurant is another great GF option in Reston

I had the most amazing Parmesan crusted chicken! Oh and they had warm gluten free bread they were able to bring out too!! Also had the crème brûlée, and there were a few other dessert options. I would absolutely recommend eating here

I want to preface this by saying I LOVE Cooper’s Hawk, I’ve had a wine membership for years and have never once (until now) had a problem eating at any of the 3 locations I’ve been to. They’ve always been very knowledgeable and accommodating. I always tell my server I have celiac disease when I order, even with the gluten free menu because I have significant symptoms, and they’ve always been wonderful about it.
That being said, I found a piece of gnocchi in my risotto there tonight and consequently am now in one of the worst symptom flares I’ve been in. I alerted my server to the issue right away and she and the manager were very apologetic and comped my meal. They even helped wheel me out to my car because I have POTS as well and gluten always triggers syncopal episodes for me.
I‘ve worked in restaurants before, and I know there’s no way to guarantee no cross contamination with a shared kitchen, so I don’t really fault Cooper’s Hawk. I’d still recommend them to anyone gluten free, celiac or not. Just wanted to make sure anyone else with intense symptoms knows this happened so they can use their best judgement the next time they go 🤍

Oh my gosh. Delicious food offered from a gluten free menu. Many options and delicious. Also served a gf bread when my husband ate his delicious pretzel bread ( which if you are not gf; it’s to “die for”). Good service and yummy wines paired with food.

Guys. I went here for my birthday. These lazy gluten eating waiters never even came to take an order, give us a menu, or a kiss on both cheeks. Yes the gluten free menu and kitchen environment are gluten free, but when you disappoint me on my birthday you better expect me to leave a strongly worded 4 star review and bring up this experience every time I hear someone mention your restaurant. Some may say I’m petty. But I say I’m just hungry.
