We loved this place! Nice outside seating area, an enormous # of wines, & an extensive gluten free menu. My sweet corn-tomato risotto with other veggies was delicious, & there was enough to save for dinner, too. I had a glass of the red wine that was recommended to go with that entree, & it was delicious. Highly recommend this place!
I had an incredible dining experience at the Avon restaurant. Staff was extremely knowledgeable as son add I mentioned I had celiac she advised she would let the chef know and get me the GF menu. They had delicious GF bread that I could enjoy while my family had the pretzel bread. Lots of delicious GF options on the menu including pasta options. Amazing dessert options. And I didn’t get sick. I had little concern about cross contamination because of how seriously they took everything. There was even a quotation about one of their truffles and they weren’t going to sell it to me to be on the safe side, but after some additional checking with the manager and head chef it was confirmed they were indeed safe. I would definitely go back. It’s a pricier meal and not necessarily as good as what it cost but it was a nice option and great ambiance for a nice celebratory meal out.
This was a really nice place. There was a gluten free menu which had several choices from appetizers to desserts. They brought a complimentary GF bun instead of the pretzel bread, and it was tasty. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed a wonderful dessert. I am thrilled with our experience there and can’t wait to go back.
I have eaten at Cooper’s Hawk Annapolis many times over the years. I just ate there for the second time since my celiac diagnosis. The menu is extensive, and their recommended wine pairings are helpful. There is an actual physical gf menu. It has a number of good offerings. Last time the salad I ordered came out with croutons by mistake. The server was very embarrassed and said she threw it out herself and spoke with the chef. I appreciated the server’s concern. It was a good meal and evening.
Fortunately this time there weren’t any hiccups. The server said she marked my order “gluten allergy”, which would mean it would be cooked separately. The server brought me warm gf bread, a good Cabernet S., a kale caesar side salad and, for the main course, a Black and Bleu cheeseburger, grilled squash and fresh fruit. It was all delicious. I may join their wine club.
