This place can, at best, be called gluten wise. But this is not gluten free, nor is it anywhere near celiac friendly. Staff uses spoons/ladles that are used for meats and beans and they rub them against the tortillas while making the tacos and burritos. There is no care for gluten free individuals.

The young man there knew quite a bit about what was gf. I got the chicken nacho. I was able to put anything I wanted on it. After getting my drink I noticed they have Rice Cinnamon Milk (df) there! I’m gonna try it next time for sure! Very happy, will be back!

From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
The staff here was amazing. When I asked about gluten free the let me know what their stuff contained and help me enjoy a nice late lunch with my daughter! I will be going back for sure! Delicious food and all made from scratch (they proudly told me that today) I will definitely be going back!

love it! everything except the boritos and the desserts are GF. owners wife is Celiac. they are very knowledgeable and change their gloves etc.
Not all the workers seem know about the gf protocols but when they do, they are very good at following them; changing their gloves, getting certain foods from the original containers etc.

I had a sweet pork salad. The person that helped me wasn’t sure about my questions but the shift manager helped out. Gloves changed, one person took my order through the whole line. Fryer is GF and tortilla strips are safe.
Only thing in the restaurant with gluten are the flour tortillas. Watch your food and it looks at least as safe as Chipotle…honestly maybe a bit safer because they use utensils for lettuce and cheese where other places use gloves.

I enjoy getting Costa vida on occasion this location does a good job. They take precautions to avoid cross contamination and I really like the sweet pork salad.
