We had their GF 3 course Christmas dinner this evening and it was absolutely delicious!
delicious food in an excellent atmosphere. The staff were charming and attentive. All dishes came with a GF flag in them. Large menu with a variety of options. The passion fruit pineapple crème brûlée was delectable
Visited Cote , Fredrick Street, Edinburgh, for an early dinner last night. Their website has a really easy to use allergen filter and on arrival a manager showed us your seats and gave me a gf menu and a tablet to double check options. Manager took our order and delivered all food to us. My dishes had a gf flag and a blue dairy free flag on it. Food was delicious and I’d go back just for the triple cooked truffle chips 😋. Felt very safe a reassured and staff were amazing, the manager and I discussed our allergies ( she’s anaphylactic to fish) and the things we miss most. Definitely recommend a visit here, lovely inside as well and we weren’t rushed.

Delicious food and excellent staff. They immediately ask about food allergies when being seated. They brought a separate menu for GF and the food was flagged GF. Delicious avocado toast with poached eggs.
Read about this restaurant online and decided to visit with friends. Brilliant service, the staff so attentive and aware of dietary needs, but most importantly it was not an issue being coeliac and the whole dining experience was superb. Seperate menu, foods identified as GF, really good choice, including GF alcohol.We had chicken in mushroom sauce with triple cooked fries. It was so refreshing to dine together not having to think about GF issues. Very reasonable priced wise, would recommend.
Separate GF menu is varied and extensive. Duck confit was delicious. Most impressed by little flags identifying gluten free food brought to the table, reassuring that waiter doesn't mix up entrees. Knowledgeable, friendly waitstaff. Highly recommend if looking for quality GF food and service.
Was met by a very friendly hostess, was given an entire gluten free menu. They were very nice, understanding and helpful.

Absolute dream for celiac. Separate menu, our GF bread is marked with a little flag that says Gluten Free. Delicious food.

Best breakfast I had on my trip to Edinburgh. Separate gluten free menu with lots of choice and lovely helpful staff. Food arrived with small flag marking it as gluten free which was also reassuring. Really nice interior and atmosphere too. Would have liked to go there for dinner as I’m sure they’d have had plenty of options but didn’t have time this trip.

Amazing experience my boyfriend and I had the sharing roast which isn’t listed as gluten free but the waitress made every effort to accommodate, we had the chicken, beans, broccoli, roast potatoes gravy and my boyfriend had a Yorkshire which they were careful with keeping completely separated. Also had the pigs in blankets which were phenomenal. Overall great food and great atmosphere!
I've got to say the man that served us in Cote was brilliant. I had my own gf menu which was pretty impressive. Loads to choose from and I felt like the staff took my allergies very seriously. I always feel better when I get a flag in my food! Food was delicious and I would absolutely recommend this place.
A great dining experience for Coeliacs. It always feels so safe eating at Cotes restaurants. You are asked on arrival for any allergies/ intolerances. All dishes are marked using G.F flags. There is a separate gluten free menu with a wide variety of dishes. The fixed price menu does not charge extra for needing to eat gluten free. Staff are very knowledgeable about coeliac disease & the need for separate fryers etc.
We all had steak ,very good and staff was very helpful doing a gluten free meal
