Horrible experience! my daughter ended up in er after eating their 'gf pancakes'.Dont even know why they even have a gf menu. It didnt even appear like cross contamination..its outright mixed with wheat.
I cannot recommend Crepevine. I had to bail on my meal here after a series of mistakes by the kitchen that would have made me ill. Fortunately, the management provided me with a refund and I was able to eat safely somewhere else.
I was excited to try one of their gluten-free crepes, and I made sure to order my crepe with a side of potatoes, not fries, given that the fries are definitely cross-contaminated. It was the lunch rush, so I had to wait quite a while for my crepe, at least 15 minutes. When a server arrived with my meal, I asked if the crepe was gluten free. She said that she did not know and would check, walking off with the plate. I waited at least another 10 minutes without anyone coming by my table. When a different server finally arrived with the correct crepe, it was now accompanied by fries. I gave up and asked for a refund. I appreciate their effort, but it seems that they have a long-way to go with educating staff about safe food handling for people with allergies.
So delicious!! I've been there twice this week! They made sure to alert me to get the potatoes instead of the fries. Portions were huge, yummy, and reasonably priced.
I ordered a gluten free crepe and when I started eating it I noticed that I was given the wrong item and that it was not gluten free. They were willing to make me a new one, but by that point I was too nervous to eat anything else from here. If you eat here you are running the risk of getting very sick.
This place claims to be gluten free.... and technically they are, but they tell you up front that they will NOT guarantee that its CC free. If you have celiac disease, you are taking your chances. I have, regretfully gotten sick here. The pancakes were really not worth the risk. They were too dry. The stars are for the excellent service however. They are genuinely friendly.
Cute restaurant specializing in Crepes. You can see the line cooks as you wait in line to order, and then they'll bring your food to your table. I was in a group of 5, but the only celiac. The menu didn't advertise gluten free Crepes, but there's a sign on the wall- add $1 to the regular price and you can get a gluten free crepe! I tried to ask the hostess if it would be free from cross contamination, but I wasn't well understood- she did explain that they were pre-made so there'd be no cross contamination there... But I'm not sure how they heat them or if the toppings were gluten free . Try when they're not busy on a brunch time- you might get more clear responses!
I LOVE this restaurant! I'm from out of town visiting famliy in the area and needed a good breakfast my first day here and they exceeded expectations. I'm coming back tomorrow for more. The crepe was big enough to share with home fries and a salad. Can't rate it high enough! 10/10
They offer gluten free crepes here, which are cooked on their own GF griddle in a separate area. They say “there’s always a chance of cross-contamination “, but that felt more like a disclaimer because it sounds like they actually take measures to keep everything separate. And the gluten-free crêpe was delicious and they have a very extensive menu. Good drinks too, from carrot juice to lattes and teas, etc
There were gf pancake, crepe, waffle, and pasta items with an extensive menu. It was an amazing assortment of options and absolutely delicious!
Had the gf tri berry crepe with Nutella, chocolate sauce, and ice cream and it was delicious 🤩 I asked them to clean the cooking surface for the crepes and they said they would (but unsure if they actually did 🤨) food arrived very quickly. Everyone was so friendly and restaurant was so cute 🥰
