Crown and Rye

My daughter is a recently diagnosed celiac. We’ve been a bit hesitant and are still learning. Reviews here really help us. We had dinner here tonight after watching her sister play college soccer. The waitress didn’t seem overly educated on our concerns, but the staff was good to help her. Her meal came out separately from ours and by the person who prepared it. She enjoyed her burger with a gluten free bun. No issues so far.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Average

An excellent restaurant with great tasting food and a gluten free menu. While the restaurant focuses on Swedish dishes unfortunately most of them can't be made gluten free. That said, about one -third or half can be made gluten free and it is delicious. Even though they were very busy I did not get sick. They even had a gluten free carrot cake on display for dessert but unfortunately no one working at the time could answer questions about cross contamination for the cake... But I really appreciate they were upfront about what they did not know!
