We don't usually verify contamination risk, as my husband just has an intolerance if he actually eats something containing gluten. Their gluten free buns are not great, but they're as good as gluten free gets, I suppose. We love the butter burgers and custard here, and will be returning frequently!

I loved their gluten free bun. It was in a separate sealed container. It was soft and fluffy and didn’t crumble like other gluten free buns I have had. The meat was in a separate container as well. They put my burger in a separate bag. They told me they do not have a dedicated fryer for their fries. So be careful of that.

My husband stopped on the way home and I didn't have time to look anything up. He asked about gf and they have gf buns! My burger came with the toppings and meat in the box and a bun still sealed in the plastic package!
Culver's in MN has a dedicated Grier for their fries & pre-wrapped GF buns. Why aren't all the chains the same?? Sorely disappointed.

I LOVED Culver's before I became GF in 2009. I used to work there actually when it first opened in town. They have some awesome Cheese Curds, they're not GF though. Haven't tried eating GF there yet & don't know that I would as not much is on it that I'd want w/o a bun. They do have good food overall (or did in 2000 when they opened). Restaurant was always very clean as was the kitchen when I worked there (picky about that & I ate there when & after I worked there).Great Custard in my opinion. I'd be sure to tell them you're GF as they used to use the same spoon & machine when mixing toppings into their custard. If you want good custard, this is another place to go besides Andy's. :)
I’ve eaten here a couple of times with no issues getting a burger with a gluten free bun. They have a shared frier so the fries are not celiac safe. Their custard is gluten free too.

All the cashier said was they have gluten free buns, no precautions taken

I am low FODMAP which means basically no wheat products, but has other very specific restrictions. Had the grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun (no pickles, add mayo). Can confirm they only season the grilled chicken with salt and pepper. The fries worked fine for me. This is basically the only fast food place that even has any low FODMAP options, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this will definitely work!

My hamburgers gluten-free buns were in a sealed bag. All was in separate bag from the rest of the order. The order was marked "food allergy" on the receipt. Seemed to be handled carefully.

Extremely busy location, they share fryers and I've seen breadcrumbs on my cheeseburger patty before. Bun is alright. Don't trust this location.
