Honestly they are so hit and miss, I’ve been told so many times that things I had before that were, apparently gluten free. Are no longer gluten free. But overall is good in a pinch

Extremely busy location, they share fryers and I've seen breadcrumbs on my cheeseburger patty before. Bun is alright. Don't trust this location.

I love this place! I have never been sick once from eating here. The fact that they have a gluten free bun that is accessible through a drive thru is amazing. Their burgers are great, and I love the fries (which are made in a dedicated fryer). Not to mention the vanilla custard and milkshakes. You can’t go wrong!

I have never gotten sick here. Great food but you do have to be very clear with the staff and double check that they understand what you want.

I stopped on my way to work and I ordered the Cheddar burger. It was delicious. They were also very careful not to cross contaminate . They warm the bun inside the package it comes in and separately box it so you open yourself. They put your burger in a separate box. Even though you cannot have fries there you can have a sundae. I will definitely go back.

Gluten free french fries

Three people in my family have celiac disease. Culver’s is usually a safe bet for gluten free cheese burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, and steamed broccoli. We eat a Culver’s when we are doing road trips because Culver’s does a great jobs with food allergies.

When my wife was order my daughter’s gluten free meal, the cashier asked if my daughter would like fries with her gluten free cheese burger. My wife politely replied that she can’t have the french fries at Culver’s because they are cross contaminated. The cashier told us that they have a dedicated fryer for just their french fries. We asked more questions and the cashier asked his boss and confirmed their French fries are gluten free! This is the only Culver’s we have found that has a dedicated French fry fryer.

We have eaten at the Culver’s in Superior Wisconsin three times since finding out their French fries are truly gluten free and no one has gotten sick. We always ask lots of questions every time we visit the Culver’s in Superior just to make sure things haven’t changed. Luckily for us we get the same answer every time! The fries are gluten free!

Called ahead to clarify the GF options since not all locations are the same. They confirmed the fryer is NOT shared, so I was able to have a burger with a GF bun (given to me in the original package), fries, and custard. Didn’t have a reaction and staff was very helpful!

Cashier was knowledgeable about gluten free / allergen food prep, answered all my questions. Said that there would be fresh utensils, gloves, separate fryer for my fries, etc. The gluten free bun came in a sealed package. I'm not sensitive to cross contamination but I felt comfortable with the precautions they took and enjoyed having a cheeseburger.
