We went on a Sunday. It was busy. I started asking about how celiac friendly they were, I got the deer in the headlight look. She then turned to the manager and she started talking about the heat would kill the gluten. I said no thank you and ordered only Cole slaw.

First of all, the staff is very accommodating and caring about the gluten. I am Celiac’s and they offered me a gluten free bun and coleslaw as a side. I just ate there and it all looked clean but I’ll have to wait and see if they could actually avoid cross-contamination. The burgers are not the world’s greatest but definitely saves the day on a road trip! Will hopefully be back.
Culver's saved the day again on our GF road trip from TX bk to MI! We were starving & hadn't been able to find somewhere for lunch since we'd left TN in the am, so we finally found the Columbus, IN Culver's right before the dinner rush. I would have given 4 stars, however I've never received a regular burger at any Culver's when I specifically ordered 2 GF burgers (my son's was correct & mine was not). I was SO glad I double checked our order before leaving to get bk on the road because we would've either had to turn around or I would've continued to starve :( It also took a VERY long time for the new GF burger to be made (I watched many other orders be filled first), so although this has never happened before I definitely learned a lesson- double check your to go orders! (We normally always dine). Culver's also gets bonus points for accommodating other allergies as well- they make our sundaes or mixers w/extra precautions to avoid any contamination with nuts! We truly love Culver's & were so glad to find them today!

Culver's actually keep their promise to avoid cross contamination. I've never had a bad experience here.

Excellent job Culver's! Delicious buns and kept completely separate.
I’ve eaten here a couple of times with no issues getting a burger with a gluten free bun. They have a shared frier so the fries are not celiac safe. Their custard is gluten free too.

All the cashier said was they have gluten free buns, no precautions taken
— No gluten-free information on the menu
I am low FODMAP which means basically no wheat products, but has other very specific restrictions. Had the grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun (no pickles, add mayo). Can confirm they only season the grilled chicken with salt and pepper. The fries worked fine for me. This is basically the only fast food place that even has any low FODMAP options, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this will definitely work!

My hamburgers gluten-free buns were in a sealed bag. All was in separate bag from the rest of the order. The order was marked "food allergy" on the receipt. Seemed to be handled carefully.

Extremely busy location, they share fryers and I've seen breadcrumbs on my cheeseburger patty before. Bun is alright. Don't trust this location.
