My girlfriend is celiac and very sensitive to cross contamination. We came here based on the other reviews and had a great experience. We asked about the gf options and the guy working, Will, knew exactly what we were talking about when we mentioned celiac and informed us that they use separate fryers for the fries and that there is no risk of cross contamination.
My celiac daughter (11) now has a place she can get a safe hamburger from. Even the young employees seem knowledgeable about gluten and ask if the order is for an allergy so they can change gloves to handle it. The bun is in a plastic bag which is microwaved and hot. They bag the gf order separately without being asked. Several concrete mixer choices which my daughter says are better than Dairy Queen.
I went into here with my father, and asked for some fries with my burger( I couldn’t eat a bun) because it said on the website they had a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and they said they didn’t have one! It said they did on their website. We were very disappointed with their website and the editors that work for corporate.
Hi Alexis! We are so sorry for the confusion regarding our fries. We were just alerted to this error on this third party app and have corrected it. They are gluten free, however they are not celiac-friendly as we do not have restaurant space to accommodate a separate fryer. We are always more than happy to accommodate requests for other gluten free sides and other menu items. Thank you for being a wonderful guest!
The fries are NOt gluten free in a Lexington. The brochure and the manager confirmed. Burger tho so get a double. The buns are Udis and individually wrapped.

I heard about this from someone I met recently. Culver's has Udi's gluten free buns. When you order a sandwich (burger/grilled chicken) they serve it deconstructed. The bun is heated in the package and they put your food on a separate red tray to differentiate between the gluten containing foods on the traditional blue trays. They also have a dedicated fryer for the fries. They do warn about possible cross contamination, but are really careful. I have Celiac and felt fine after eating here. It was a great experience and I plan on going back.
Very excited to learn that Culver's has a gluten-free bun! It was delicious. It comes in a special wrapper, and it does not taste like sawdust! Will be frequenting here!
Culver’s is my safe bet when traveling! I have celiac disease and have always relied on their salad or mushroom & Swiss burger. They have a gluten free bun that comes sealed in a wrapper. I can relax when I see they are close and I am not familiar with the area. They do not have a separate fryer usually. If i want their custard, I chose from the prepackaged freezer To-Go and share.
This Culver has a dedicated fryer for fries! Not many other locations do. Make sure you ask!
Also the staff there has been really kind and open to questions.
Also, at Culver’s in general, the burgers are grilled on the same griddle as buns… so if you’re very sensitive, the only completely safe option is the brisket sandwich with a gluten free bun.
Never have gotten sick from this location. I just get a burger with a gluten free bun. I do not get fries.
