Food was delicious, all food can be made GF but you must tell your server of your GF needs or else it will be made normally.

Food was excellent. My husband and I split chicken fried rice and beef rice noodles. No soy sauce. I think they just don’t add it rather than subbing a GF version. Still tasted great so we were happy. GF items were marked but one section was a bit unclear. Waitress was very helpful in navigating the GF options.

My daughter has celiacs and the staff was so lovely and helpful. They can offer several GF dishes. Ordered the fried rice and she loved it. Thank you, Dan Dan!

Sorry to say this because the other reviews are so positive - we ate there last night and my dad and I got seriously glutened. They seemed super on top of it and accustomed to accommodating celiacs, maybe someone just made a mistake :/ very bummed because the food was delicious!

Ate here twice while spending a few days in Philly.
The food is really good. A lovely casual dining spot. Good wines, and a cider on tap. No GF beer.
The menu is digital, but if you ask they'll give you a laminated version. Handy if you don't have internet. They don't have in-house wifi.
Any item that cannot be made gf, or isn't already gf, is marked. Loads of choice.

Truly the best Chinese and Taiwanese good I've had since my childhood, and everything I had was gluten free--Three Cup Chicken, and Ginger Chicken over bok choy. They had many other gf options. Wonderful service and a modern, clean space. So, so good.

Clearly marked menu for gluten free items. I had the house special noodle dish. It was ok, needed more of a sauce. Friend had the garlic sauce dish which was great! Felt safe for Celiac, knowledgeable staff.

I have eaten here so many times and never gotten sick. The staff is very accommodating. Absolutely delicious food. We typically get the Dan Dan noodles with rice noodles and the Mapo tofu but anything I’ve tried here marked gf was delicious and safe. They also have excellent cocktails!
Edit as of Jan 2022: I mistakenly received wheat noodles, which I pointed out to the waitress. She assured me she had put in GF and they should be fine. Since I’ve had it many times I sent it back and the chef agreed they were the wrong noodles (they look quite different!). I still consider this a safe restaurant personally, but I’ve noticed the lunchtime staff are less knowledgeable about gf/celiac.

Menu is clearly marked about what is and isn’t gluten free, and staff was knowledgeable. Food came out quickly and tasted great! Side note - I can’t entirely remember the name of my dish - garlic chicken something, but it did have a red dot for spiciness (1 on a scale of 1-5). It’s Thai food, so I should have known better, but it felt like a “medium” level spice to me (which I like - no complaints, I’m just glad I didn’t get the dish with 4 dots that I was contemplating! Be forewarned if you don’t like spicy food)

Delicious place! Majority of the menu can be made gluten free, which is great because I feel like Chinese food is something so hard to find gluten free. I got the king pao tofu and it was great

Ordered through Cavier to get it delivered, but first called to ask questions because the menu isn’t marked gf. Person was very knowledgeable and helpful! Even told me what to write in my order so i could be sure the kitchen would accommodate. Food was FANTASTIC and didn’t have any issues!

Extremely knowledgeable about gluten and it’s celiac friendly!

I really have to share even though I think it was a server issue rather than a risk always. Went in tonight, it states on the menu that almost every dish can be made gluten free. I let my server know I had celiac and he acted like it was no big deal to get my food made safely. I order sesame noodles, he confirmed they could be made gf. They come to my table, I wait to confirm with him they are gf because I always double check. He confirms, I start eating, he returned and said now that he looked closer they were the regular noodles not gluten free!! It was the worst experience. Everything looked so good but I would get a manager to play it safe here.
Food and service were great!

All items on the menu can be made gluten free except for some of the pork items. The server was extremely helpful in answering questions about GF options.
