Got glutened bad! Was very ill within 20 mins of eating. The noodles were rice and they removed the soy egg, so perhaps something in the broth. What a shame because the food was lovely.

Very disappointed overall. The wings were listed online and on the menu at the restaurant as gluten free. The waitress informed me they are not gf - it's a typo. The restaurant has known for some time it's a typo and they haven't fixed it. The ramen was super bland and the options available were almost nothing (the only protein I could add were the fish cakes and again they were bland). Will not go back.

I had a great time here! The ramen is so good, I had it gluten free. They do add a dollar for gluten free noodles but that’s not bad! It is unfortunate that you can’t have the soy egg and they won’t substitute it for free. One waitress let me know people like to add grilled avocado instead of the egg, and it weirdly works. I do that every time now and just eat the extra cost. Also had the strawberry cup sake, it was very smooth to drink and had a nice fruity flavor.

Gluten free options are marked on the menu. My ramen was great, though the pork belly was chewy. That was half my excitement in going. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Sorry I missed the days of gf sou sauce, that sounds awesome! However I did eat here the other day and was very satisfied with my ramen dish. Gf rice noodles were used, and the waitress was able to guide me away from the shoyu egg which has gluten. I will know next time though to maybe add an extra protein to maken it feel more rounded out. I got the Tonkatsu and the pork belly was perfection in top
They used to have a lot more gf options until they lamentably switched their soy sauce... So now there are a couple ramen options with gf broth and rice noodles and a few of the small plates in the izakaya upstairs are gf

CELIAC WARNING: Waiter told me that the soy sauce they use is NOT safe for celiacs because it has traces of gluten in it. That said, he was able to point out which items were celiac safe and while it was only a few ramen bowls, the ramen I had was delicious. I did have to modify the bowl and could not have the soy marinated egg, again because their soy sauce does have trace amounts of gluten. I would return to this restaurant because I did not get sick. The rice noodles were obviously different from the standard ramen but we’re still delicious and held up well in the broth.
Fantastic food and very wide range of GF options!

Great ramen, and every ramen bowl is available to be made with rice noodles! Finally a place with a range of GF options in Durham.
I appreciate all the options and idea of thisnplace but I can't say I enjoyed it. My friend and I ordered 2 different types of ramen and didn't like either very much. I didn't get sick but I didn't eat my leftovers either.
incredible ramen shop and small plates "izakaya" that happens to have tons of GF options. the kitchen switched all their soy sauce to GF tamari and they offer GF ramen noodles upon request. stylish interior and solid cocktails, too.
