Review of Deaverdura

We came here to try traditional Puerto Rican food in one of the only highly rated gf places for that type of cuisine in findmeglutenfree. The initial waitress was very confused and didn’t know what gluten is, she thought that rice had gluten. Eventually we spoke to a new person who told us that the pernil is gluten free, and the cook made us a fresh batch of plantains to avoid cross contamination. Obviously it’s not a dedicated establishment and it seems your mileage may vary depending on which server you get.
