We’ve gotten to the point where most gluten-free bakeries are pretty close to the “real“ thing; I dare say Deby’s closes whatever gap is left. Stopped in last Saturday and there was a (fast-moving) line almost to the door; a couple ahead of me had come up from New Mexico “for this”. I’ve not had a donut this good in… maybe ever, but they completely nailed both taste and texture. I had a maple glazed donut and a cinnamon fry-bread, both freshly made, and both were absolutely delicious. Warm and thinly crispy on the outside, perfectly chewy on the inside. Writing this review (on a Sunday) actually makes me wish it was Saturday again… Also got a savory scone & a quiche, both likewise incredible, as well as a pumpkin coffee cake which, while packaged and not as fresh as the donuts, was also pretty great on its own. Obviously the place is totally gf, so no issues there. If you’ve never been, do yourself a favor and grab a fresh donut. I’ve been gluten-free for 12 years and seldom have food experiences like this .
