We had a wonderful tea for two! Generous and delicious sandwiches, yummy cinnamon rolls and delicious tea. It was so great to have so many wonderful choices. The staff was so patient and kind. Their table-side manner is what makes it truly a special location. It was our first time but won’t be the last!
Super charming, helpful and nice. The food selection is all cafe sandwiches and soup (it’s winter so maybe that’s seasonal) and desserts and other baked goods. Good variety. Lots of dairy free options as well. Tea selection is great and they make coffee too. It’s also a large event space that makes mocktails! Would be great for a wedding shower or birthday.

Try the deep-dish quiche, or the salad with their farm vegetables! Both GF and DF, and omg so delicious
This place is amazing!!! Everything I've had so far is delicious. It's expensive but you get what you pay for, it's 100% worth it. The portion sizes are huge, and everything is hearty and filling, but healthy. The baked goods have amazing flavor and texture, the vegetables are really fresh, and the quiche is deep-dish and super fluffy. The tea blends are also delicious, and the decor feels more like a cozy home than a restaurant.
Definitely try this place!
I wanted to buy a few treats for Father’s Day brunch. We have gluten, dairy, soy, and nut allergies so it accommodates all. I got a variety of items, including the linzer tarts which were amazing! Chocolate chip cookies were still hot and delicious. The muffins are moist and the bagels while they don’t look traditional, I was able to eat without putting anything on them. I will definitely be back! Even my boyfriend who is not gluten-free really liked the linzer tarts. That’s all he’s tried so far, but I’m guessing he will like all of the other things as well.
I went back because I definitely like this place and I wanted to try their chicken salad sandwich. Very good. I will keep going here! I’m adding a few pictures as well.
The crepes were incredible! Best chimichurri I have ever had and the coffee with oat milk was awesome.
Immaculately clean.
I will go there often!
It’s nice to see more dedicated gluten free restaurants and cafes opening and the food was good. BUT, if you have celiac and can’t tolerate oats (even certified gluten free oats), I don’t recommend as I had a significant reaction even eating the items that weren’t baked with oats. Owner has a gluten sensitivity not celiac and makes 90% of the baked goods with oats or oat milk.
The Defying Gravitea chicken salad sammie on the house-baked brioche is amazing and so is the Breakfast Crepe with house-made crumbled chicken sausage! I've known the owner/founder Gina for a couple years now from her time in Jersey City. She has made my gluten-free custom birthday cake/cupcakes for the last two years - banana rum cake - and has exceeded my expectations each time! Her gf pie crust is great too as is the pecan pie - order one for your next pie craving - she does custom pies too! Honestly, some of the absolute gluten-free treats I've tried (must try the cheddar-scallion scone which is gf and dairy free). Her Defying Gravitea teas are also really tasty and the rise + grind is perfect for those that want caffeine, but don't drink coffee. Highly recommend and such a cute spot!
