This place was so good, I ordered more food to go! 100% gluten free food (only gluten in some of the beer.) Fried chicken and wings were amazing! Great spot whether you're Celiac or not.

Gluten-free facility with delicious food. This is also a great place to eat with your non-GF friends & family--they won't miss the gluten (and may not even know everything is GF unless you tell them).

Really enjoyed my meal here. Awesome to be able to experience southern style cooking on our vacation. I was a little nervous because alright everything can be made GF, they do use regulator flour products on their food too, but I didn’t have a reaction so they must be pretty careful. Definitely recommend

I have died and gone to heaven. Fried pickles!!! Fried catfish and turnip greens!!! Can’t believe I have been in Birmingham and haven’t tried this place until now. Great atmosphere out on the patio. Kids loved the chicken fingers and couldn’t believe they were GF. Cant wait to go back!

This place is awesome! Service was slow last night but I Believe they had new servers. We got the fried pickles, fried catfish, chicken tenders, and tamale pie. Everything was fantastic. My Mother, who complains about everything, had nothing but good things to say about this place! I definitely recommend and can't wait to go back! It's so nice to be able to eat without worrying!

This is by far one of the most wonderful restaurant experiences since my celiac diagnosis! A 100% gluten free facility with awesome fried dishes. Fried jalapeños were perfectly crispy and the catfish is as good as grandma makes. I highly suggest a Bloody Mary, it pairs perfectly with most of the menu.

Amazing food!! Aaahh! All food here is 100% GF. I had fried pickles for the first time in my life. I ordered a classic tamale plate and a catfish taco. My husband ordered the Ragin Cajun. I had some of his food of course lol. I sampled some cider and had a Bloody Mary. Very good! Even took 6 tamales to go!

A little bit of fusion cuisine in a fun, quirky atmosphere. This place does it right. We had the crossroads Queso as an appetizer. Never thought I would like pimento cheese, but I’m here to tell you I’m a convert! For the main course I got the chicken melt (too much cheese for one sitting after the Queso, but it was good!) My husband had the wings and said they were really good. All in a dedicated gf restaurant. What’s not to love?

Best dedicated gluten free facility/restaurant in Birmingham. Doesn’t lose anything at all in taste being gluten free and the wait staff is excellent. Their specialty is tamales, but don’t sleep on the wings (absolutely amazing!) or chicken fingers (best I’ve ever had, GF or not). If you’re looking for fried crunchy goodness, don’t overlook the fried jalapeños appetizer! If you’re looking for a gluten beer that sacrifices nothing, splurge for the Green’s. All this, plus a super down to earth, comfortable atmosphere makes it my home away from home.

We went to Delta Blues last night for my brother's birthday party. Since I'm the only Celiac of the family, I chose the location and didn't even think about the fact that we were bringing in a glutenous cake for him. 🤦🏽‍♀️ My brother is severely autistic, and Bubba was so gracious working with us in keeping the location safe for people like me but making my brother happy when he didn't understand why we couldn't bring the cake in. (He supplied us plates and a separate trash can so we could eat it outside.) Not to mention, everyone loved the food and couldn't believe you could have such a wonderful meal without gluten. ;) But seriously, the food is wonderful, the service was great, even with our large (and loud) party, and we always make a point to stop here every time we're in Birmingham.

Really good food and it’s all gluten free. The only thing they have that isn’t gluten free is beer, but they aren’t allowed to bring that into certain areas where food is prepared.

This is one of two dedicated gluten free eat in restaurants in Birmingham (so far!). We always feel safe taking our toddler here to eat. And we don’t feel bad if it’s rush because we don’t have to make special requests of the chef or staff. Everything is safe! Food is good too!

Very, very good! It’s such a treat to be in a restaurant that it all gluten free and you don’t have to modify your order or decide whether or not you feel confident enough to eat there! Everything was delicious and the blues music was just a special topper!

One of the owners has celiac. I was able to have fried catfish for the first time since my diagnosis! My friend had the tamale pie. Both were delicious! It is so nice knowing the eatery is safe. Even in the door and the menu, they require no outside food being brought in to cut down on cross contamination

Everything was gluten free. Very friendly and they do not allow foreign food into the business, so I'm not afraid to put my hands on the table. Regular beer was on the menu for non celiacs, but they had celiac friendly drinks available.

Oh. my. gosh. I can't say enough about this amazing place! When I come 'home' to visit Alabama, I am usually resigned to not getting to eat good southern food. But at Delta Blues, I ate the best gluten free fried chicken and fried pickles I have ever had! I felt 'normal' for a bit, getting to order off of the regular menu and not worrying about CC. I also love the decor, and the owners are amazing too. Thank you Delta Blues for an amazing southern meal!!

This is my favorite restaurant in bham. Their whole menu is gf. They always have fun gf beers and ciders on tap. Including a seasonal gf beer from trim tab brewery! Absolutely favorite. I bring all my friends and family here when they visit. I have celiac but by bf and friends don't. They love it just the same. Everyone that works there is amazing. They even sell their gf flour so you can make their creations at home. (I'd rather buy it there and enjoy the environment)

Holy moly! Amazing! 6 stars. I'm not GF, but my girlfriend is. This menu pleased us both and the entirety of it was safe for her to eat. even have a selection of eight different GF beers. Chill atmosphere, great music, I'll come back everytime I'm anywhere near Birmingham.

this place is dedicated GF restaurant. The tamales are made with blue corn flour and they come with dipping sauce. They are not bad, but they are different. They have other menu options. such as chicken fingers. I was informed by the waitress that the owner has Celiac and Hashimotos.

Absolutely amazing! Everything on the menu is GF which is so rare to find. Fried pickles? Yes please! I haven’t eaten those in years. My fiancé and I both ordered the chicken fingers which were HUGE! The staff is so knowledgeable and accommodating to food allergies. They also sell their GF flour so I can make my own fried goodness at home. If there was one small suggestion I could add, it would be to offer more sides. I wasn’t really impressed with the baked beans or slaw and cucumber salad doesn’t really go with fried food. Perhaps some French fries or homemade potato chips would be a great addition. I will definitely return to Delta Blues when I visit Birmingham. Highly recommend!
