Recently visited NYC with my daughter & found Don Antonio. It was hands down the best gf pizza I’ve ever eaten! All of the ingredients were fresh; they have a dedicated gf oven and the afternoon we dined there, a dedicated gf chef. The crust was soooo good—dense, but also chewy and crisp with some bend at the end of the slice. (I’m so tired of lame, soggy and thin gf pizza crust on the rare occasions that I can find a pizza place that’s safe.) Our server, Anna, was friendly and very knowledgeable about celiac disease & the need for zero cross contamination. Lots of toppings options here too. After dinner, she brought us a plate of gf churros with chocolate sauce. Just so delish!!! Zero issues afterwards—- so we ended up eating dinner there again the next evening. Can’t wait to go back again!
