GF donuts are made off-site and require pre-ordering. However, due to recent fraud issues, they required in-person ordering and cash pre-payment days in advance (no exceptions - wouldn’t even take a check). Had to wait in long lines both to order and to pick up (no separate pick up area). Pretty inconvenient to have to go twice if you’re not staying in Duck. Daughter enjoyed the special treat, but it required a lot of leg work (not sure it was worth it TBH).
Pros: Lots of options (9-10 varieties) of GF donuts. Fun varieties we’ve not seen elsewhere. Cons: Like most food places in the OBX, it’s BUSY. May not have GF available at all. Go early and be sure to have cash.
