Had a very positive experience here. The menu is marked for gf/gf possible, and the waitress double checked with the manager and kitchen that there is a shared frier. The food was great. Was skeptical about previous negative reviews but haven’t gotten sick (so far) although I am not always symptomatic.

They mark items on their menu as gluten free, even though they are not. Waitress told me that everything is cooked on the same surfaces and fried in the same oil. Waitress also did not know soy sauce contained gluten. If you are just avoiding gluten this could be fine but not if you have celiac, you will get horribly sick.

I feel like most places lately (post pandemic) the staffing makes the biggest impact on your experience. First time I went here I felt like I may have gotten sick, but I was still symptomatic from a prior time recent to that.
Just went on a second visit here. Perks: I booked online and you can select a note for dietary restrictions/allergies: “wheat”, “gluten free”. I then called the place and asked about the kitchen, the woman in the phone was confident that I shouldn’t get sick and that they had a separate fryer and area to prepare the food. The menu also does clearly state what is already GF or items that can be made GF. They do also have two gf deserts available. One chocolate mouse and a fruit flan.
Cons: the staff doesn’t bring out your food and specifically say “gf, or allergy”, nor any label on the food either. Also, I was told a separate fryer BUT when I ordered the tuna ceviche they made it gluten free by putting the plaintain chips on the side 🤔 so I could not have those since they were fried.
Nonetheless I did not get sick! I got the tuna ceviche, lobster risotto, and that fruit flan desert. All absolutely amazing.

I ordered the chicken under a brick on two separate occasions never sick and it was delightful, nice and crispy. I also ordered the beet salad and it was delicious.

They do Not understand what gluten-free means. They say that they have items on their menu that are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free, but they also make mistakes like putting gluten chips on meals. And they do not have good customer service and are not apologetic about it.

It's absolutely wonderful! Not a dedicated kitchen, but amazing staff that keep everything separate and a clearly marked menu with items that are naturally gluten free and those that can be made gluten free.
I've had the grilled octopus, the tuna tartar tacos and the bacon wrapped haddock. The tuna tartar, was a little boring because it's only butter-lettuce wrapped, but the haddock and octopus were out of this world!!! Also, make sure to get the Matadolor if you like coconutty drinks: yummy, but mild and unboring. Hiiiiiiiiiiighly recommend this restaurant!!!!!
