The menu was extremely confusing because only 2 things were marked GF and there were discrepancies between what was marked GF online and in person. Luckily my server had celiac and told me that about half the menu was actually GF or could be easily modified…so that was frustrating. I ordered the blackened Cajun chicken and it was fine but honestly I don’t think I’d go back here.

I’ve given 3 stars only bc I should’ve expected them to be super busy on a Friday night and therefore not be “on the ball” about the gluten cross contamination stuff so I can’t rlly blame them for that. I did take away 2 stars because I got two different answers about if they have a gluten free fryer or not so I don’t know who to believe and I had an immediate reaction to a dish listed as gluten free (chances are the reaction was due to gluten exposure but there’s no way to tell for sure). Lastly, when I informed the server I was celiac and explained what that meant, she responded by saying “haha wow you’re life must suck” and scurried away. I wasn’t insulted by the comment, just found it weird. Tje reason why I took a star off was because she didn’t say anything other than commenting how my life sucks, I didn’t feel assured that she understood the seriousness of my condition or really listened to what I was saying.

Love Earl’s because they have a dedicated fryer so that means fries! Yam fries!! The food is pretty good although the price can be a bit high for the quality. Staff is knowledgable or will ask the kitchen to be sure, which I appreciate. During non-covid times the yaletown location can have a waitlist for dinner.

Very good! The best gluten free pizza I ever had. Really crunchy, like the real thing! No reaction afterwards and since I am very sensitive I'm pleased!

Earl’s new gluten free pizza is hands down the best GF pizza currently offered in downtown Vancouver. Being a huge pizza lover I’ve tried almost everything available, this new crust is thin and tasty the Italia with a glass of red wine on a Friday night is the perfect end to the week. The bonus to all of this you can have Door Dash deliver it to you condo on the rainy Vancouver nights.
Separate fryer! Had GF battered calamari which I was pleasantly surprised by

Amazing experience for our dinner. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about Celiac and helpful. They do have gf items marked on the menu, but can make modifications to many other items on the menu as well. Dedicated fryer for the fries and really good gluten-free buns.

I ate here twice whilst in Vancouver and had a great experience. I had a pizza and the salmon with rice and veggies. Both times the waiters knew what coeliac disease was and assured me that they would take precautions to avoid cross contamination. I didn’t get ill from eating here so I do think they took it very seriously. And the food was nice too.
