amazing food! i got the grilled chicken and mamposteao rice, with some mango lemonade :) they did accidentally bring me breaded chicken but were quick to correct the issue (like less than 5 minutes for new chicken). some variety but i wouldn’t say it’s a ton of options. all in all pretty great!

Our server let us know that all the sauces are gluten free because they only thicken them with corn starch. The plantains are fried separately than gluten items. The only things that contain wheat flour are the breaded items - so sautéed items are safe and cooked separately. I got the plantain mofongo with shrimp.

I got a salad and the rice and vegetables. Very tasty and didn't get sick.

Went here last night and you definitely need to advocate for yourself. Our waiter didn’t understand English well and had to return to the kitchen to check/understand GF options. He came back and suggested a fish fillet or one of the rice dishes. I ended up going with rice and vegetables just because it felt like the safest choice. The vegetables were the kind you’d get in frozen bag from the supermarket… The meal was ok but probably not something I would choose to pay for. Nothing is marked on the menu so you have to try to ask questions and make an educated decision.

This place was EXTREMELY accommodating and the waitress talked to the chef about making me sweet plantains in a separate skillet! Which was so nice! So I had a gluten free meal that I was very happy about and appreciate that they helped me out so much. I did not get sick at all! And I’m a very sensitive celiac.

Staff was very accommodating. Not many options but checked to Make sure the grill Base and dressing was safe. The grill base was not gf so they just seasoned with salt and pepper. They had two Caesar dressings. One was gf.

Food and service was very good. They were very attentive to making our food to insure it was completely gluten free. They had some questions but I was happy to answer them to help them make sure all the ingredients used were gluten free.

Local cuisine. We showed them our Spanish gf card and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Very friendly, very good mofongo. Two of us found several places in Luquillo to eat safely.
