Update: got sick. Pretty sure from here. RIP me
They have glutino GF English muffins. They wiped down the grill before cooking my food (including toasting English muffin) and noted severe gluten allergy. The food was BOMB- absolutely gourmet egg sandwiches, Turkish eggs, etc. I regret not taking a photo!!
Had the BLT BENEDICT BRIOCHE, POACHED EGGS, PEPPER BACON, MIXED GREENS, TOMATO, CONFIT, DIJON CITRONETTE, OLD BAY so good!!!
Very good food but very likely for cross contamination. The foods are tasty and are cooked with different flavor profiles. I wish they had gluten free bread options too! Other than that staff is friendly and will go over gf options. I always get the bowls and it’s delicious every time.
This place is celiac friendly ONLY if you order very carefully. The waitress explained that there is no dedicated toaster for gf English muffins, etc. and nearly everything is prepared on the same griddle with the gluten-containing items. She explained most of the “bowl” entrees are naturally gluten-free AND prepared in a separate pan, making them a safer bet. She also cautioned that truffle hash browns, as amazing as they sound, are not safe as they go into the deep fryer along with glutinous items. Let’s face it, opportunities for cross-contamination are sky-high in a kitchen that small and busy. I got the scramble bowl which was fine although the eggs were runny (not my preference) and my dining companion got the kale bowl with quinoa and puffed amaranth. Both were fine to above average. In sum, given the dearth of other safe options in the neighborhood, we were mostly satisfied and grateful.
Pricey and not super impressive. The GF English muffins are Glutino, and my "heirloom tomato" was hard and flavorless. Wouldn't go back.
This is a great place for breakfast! The seating is a little tight, but everyone was friendly and courteous. The sandwiches were excellent and the gluten free English muffin was very good. I strongly suggest you try their hash browns!!
This place was AMAZING. The server was super knowledgable, and almost everything on their menu could be made gluten free. They even toasted out English muffins in the broiler so they wouldn't be cross contaminated. It was delicious!
