My waitress and the staff were all super helpful and concerned. They double checked all ingredients to make sure there were no traces of gluten. I got the eggs Benedict on GF bread instead of English muffin, Home fries, and water. I don’t have an allergy or celiac, so I’m not hyper vigilant. The staff here was.

Have eaten here many times. They have an allergy protocol and a dedicated GF toaster. I’ve never gotten sick. I have never tried the GF pancakes or waffles though.

Food was great and they were very accommodating. I did ask the waitress about the dedicated waffle maker, she ensured me that they DO NOT have a dedicated waffle maker. She did however mention that the kitchen staff are really great about cleaning the grill top and waffle maker prior to making gluten free food. She said some other locations might, but not this one in Ladson. I didn’t want to take the chance with the waffle maker, so I opted for an omelet and gf pancake for the side. No reaction noted, so I’d call it safe.

The menu is clearly marked for gluten free items. They have gluten free pancakes, which you can add any toppings to. The home fries are also gluten free. I am not 100% sure what measures are taken to prevent cross contamination, as the pancakes are only marked "gluten friendly". However, I had the pancakes and did not get sick.

After ordering my gluten free pancakes, the chef personally came out to tell me that their pancakes are not gluten free. They are gluten friendly. They have noting that is gluten free. I am so thankful he came out to tell me that. He said he did not want me to get sick. If you have celiac like I do, do not eat here. It is not safe.

Our waitress did not seem to be familiar with gluten/gluten-free options at all; when we asked, my wife had to ask her to go to the kitchen to ask. We heard someone laugh when she asked if the bacon was gluten-free and said, “Bacon has gluten?” NOTHING on the menu has “gf” identification. Food was good but, while the said they have gf options, uncertain how safe for allergies/celiacs.

Dined at the Tuckahoe location today and had a concerning first experience. Nothing on the menu is marked GF. However, it does note they have GF pancakes for an extra charge and the waitress let us know they also have GF waffles. I asked if the bacon was GF and she said she had no idea. I asked her if she could check and since it’s an open kitchen I could see her asking. After the chuckling and the head cook saying -I guess so-,our server came back and said “it’s GF because there is no milk in it”. The GF pancake tastes like a box mix, the potatoes were good and the eggs were good right.
I am gluten and dairy intolerant and had a mild reaction.
If you have celiac, I would not recommend this place at all.

Did not order, got up and walked out. They cook everything on shared equipment, even pancakes and waffles. This is not a place for someone with celiac.
