Review of El Centro

We were served chips and salsa, as is the custom. I told the first waitress I needed to be gf. I asked if the Mexican Jambalaya was gf. She said yes, if I omitted the queso. We ended up with a different server. She said the queso was gf, but the sauce on it was not, so she served it on the dude for my husband. However, she said the chips (which I had been eating were NOT gf-they were corn tortillas cooked in grease that was contaminated. At 71 years of age, and 35 years of gf living under my belt, I would have asked. The food, by the way was great!
