The menu was not marked GF. However, our waitress was very knowledgeable. The nacho chips that they serve you with salsa when you are seated are not GF.

We were served chips and salsa, as is the custom. I told the first waitress I needed to be gf. I asked if the Mexican Jambalaya was gf. She said yes, if I omitted the queso. We ended up with a different server. She said the queso was gf, but the sauce on it was not, so she served it on the dude for my husband. However, she said the chips (which I had been eating were NOT gf-they were corn tortillas cooked in grease that was contaminated. At 71 years of age, and 35 years of gf living under my belt, I would have asked. The food, by the way was great!

Called last week to find out if they still had gluten free options and was told yes, they do. Went last night and nothing on the menu is marked GF. Asked two staff members for menu help and both said there is nothing available. So we had to leave. Used to enjoy eating at El Centro.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Great staff. Always excellent service, but when I asked about their chips, I was told they were safe as they are corn and not flour. I had a horrible reaction. I later found out that their chips are fried in the same fryer as flour tortillas. So bummed because I love chips and salsa. The only reason its not a five star is because the staff isn't knowledgeable about Celiac.
No
I've eaten here multiple times and they have a great gluten free menu. Only downside: if you want guacamole or salsa, bring your own chips.
nacho chips are fried in same fryer as gluten containing items but they do have a gluten free section on the menu with a decent selection. Also, gluten-free flan.good tasting corn toastiotos.
