This place was incredible!! I saw mixed reviews about the gluten safety so I wasn’t sure. Staff was super knowledgeable and careful. The chef said they recently separated their fryer so one is dedicated to only chips and no cross contamination. So I enjoyed guacamole and chips. So amazing! The fajitas were incredible. Highly recommend

I tested the Tortilla Chips with my Nima tester and no gluten was detected. I also ordered the steak fajitas with no sour cream, no cheese and with corn (not flour) tortillas and extra guacamole. The server substituted black beans for refried beans automatically. I felt the server was very accommodating to my allergies and would recommend El Cholo. Just let them know ahead of time specifically what your allergies are. Thanks, El Cholo!

This place is great. No dedicated GF menu, but the chef baked me GF chips and switched out the sauce on my enchiladas to be GF. Great service and very understanding about cross contamination.

No dedicated gf menu but will accommodate and make modifications. Staff understands and will cater to your requests. Stay away from chips as used in same fryer. But will give you corn tortillas to eat if you mention it.
El Cholo was extremely accommodating! Chips are corn, and they have many corn tortilla options on the menu. They spoke with the kitchen for me about my allergies and brought out GF beans and ensured the meal was entirely GF for me.
