With a wheat allergy, I start feeling the effects of even cross contamination within minutes. The chips/salsa made my stomach burn, indicating they are cross contaminated so definitely avoid the chips/salsa. I used to love getting the taco board on Thursdays before my diagnosis but the fried roll ups also made me feel sick. They have good drink deals and the staff is friendly but honestly I don’t think I’ll be back. There are probably better, not cross contaminated options on the menu if you really want to go there though.

The assistant manager is knowledgeable about what is gluten free and what is not but the servers are not. This one woman just made up in her head what she thought it might be and told me that she checked with the kitchen but after I got glutened she said that she really didn’t ask and acted like it was no big deal.
The management doesn’t care that their servers don’t know the menu.
They don’t care that you’re going to be sick for two weeks.
This was a very experienced server who’s been working there a long time who just did whatever she felt like and didn’t care.
As a Celiac, this place is very dangerous.

Ellie was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. I got the build your own taco plate and tried the Plantar, chorizo and low and slow brisket tacos... loved them all. Oh, and the El Jefe margaritas are awesome!

Tasty joint. Corn tortillas did the trick with their fajitas. Food especially their juicy meat is delicious. Great packaging for take out. Nice tavern feel to the restaurant. Not a dedicated GF place but we’ve not had a problem.
