Great restaurant and 99% GF. The menu is huge and varied. I was served a hot , crusty mini baguette which was superb. For appetizer we shared 3 delicious croquettes-one cod, one shrimp, and one squid. They were crispy outside and delicious. My spouse had the monkfish with garlic. I had the fried baby squids. For dessert we shared the tiramisu and the fried milk. Everything was amazing. Friendly staff and speak English. We will head back in a day or so. Lively atmosphere.
Zo fijn, geheel glutenvrij visrestaurant.
Superb. Service, food, wines were superlative. Ensalada mixto- bright mix of greens with the usual decore. Fresh & crispy. Calamari friti (baby squid): not at all oily or greasy, crispy tender-sweet little bites. Get this, it is not over salted. Salmon Grillado- this is the best salmon to be had outside of Scotland! Rich and fatty. Astonishingly delicious, here in Grenada? Yes. Yes. Cheesecake: rich & creamy. No crust which I will never subject my cheesecake to again. Note: one dessert - a traditional Spanish cannoli like pastry is not GF and diners are clearly warned. Our handsome and charming host Miguel A. Made sure we felt like regulars. He made our meal a special occasion and left this old gal sparkling, a true gift!
As far as I’m concerned this place is a coeliacs paradise - everything is gluten free, the staff is wonderful and helpful - special mention for the croquettas and the cheesecakes. It is honestly such a refreshing change to not have to worry about cross contamination and the food is so good in any other restaurant I would worry they’d brought the gluten version instead. Cannot recommend highly enough
The food was wonderful! The calamari was especially good, as was the tiramisu. One thing to note though: while essentially everything on the menu is gluten free, they do have a dessert that contains gluten (the traditional sweet dessert, I believe it was called bartolillos). Luckily, the server immediately warned me of this when I attempted to order it. The staff is very helpful and kind. Definitely worth a visit!
Great food and experience, and a breath of fresh air to go somewhere in Spain and be able to eat anything on the menu. The croquettes and paella were great and the crème puffs for dessert were out of this world.
¡Que Rico! Delicious (primarily fish) restaurant in the touristy area by the cathedral. Very kind, fun staff. Tourist menus in English/French. Tolerate mediocre Spanish with great humor. The food, though, is magnificent. The fried stuff is all gluten free. Everything is extremely clearly marked in the menu. The fish is very fresh. I had monkfish with garlic and it was amazing. We also had the clams in a butter/olive oil sauce for a starter and it because it sounded really odd, we had fried milk (a custard, really) for dessert and it was terrific. Finally, sitting in the Calle, the people-watching is spectacular! If we were here longer I would definitely go to another of their restaurants. If you like fish and follow a gluten free diet, please give them a go. You won’t regret it.
Everything we ate here was absolutely delicious! It was so exciting to be able to eat paella for the first time. Everything on the menu is gluten-free they said except for one dessert. We ate in the seating area out front and there were musicians on the street playing that evening. It was lovely! We will dishes with our friends and everyone love everything we ate! We had the monkfish, the assorted fried seafood plate, black paella, and the seafood paella. All of these items were gluten and milk free. Everything was absolutely delicious and I didn’t get sick. I felt like it was really well priced too for fresh seafood.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. They are almost exclusively gluten free, very knowledgeable, and accommodating to all allergies as much as possible. The waitstaff asked the kitchen repeatedly before bringing me food and everything tasted wonderful. The restaurant itself is very well decorated and has a really fun atmosphere. There is some non-gluten free beer and alcohol offered.
We've had two dinners here. Everything is gluten free except for a few beers on the menu. The staff is very attentive, warm and efficient. And the food is just so good. The seafood is fresh and well prepared. We had their croquettes, mussels, grilled squid and black rice paella.
The highlight of our family holidays. We didn t need to worry about the menu. All was GF and delicious including all the puddings even if we were full and it all tasted like normal delicious food. I truly recommend. I wish we had a restaurant like this near we’re we live in England. Please export it.
We ate here as a family of 5. 3 celiac of which I am not. All of the staff were extremely kind, helpful and looked like they loved their job! As soon as we arrived we were offered suitable outdoor seating. When we asked about what was gluten free on the menu they responded by saying “everything!”
I am not gluten free but all of the food was delicious and my gluten free family were overjoyed at the number of options available to them.
Instead of having separate fryers for gluten free, they only offer gluten free food which meant that we could enjoy the food at regular prices too!
An AMAZING restaurant with the best staff, food and service. I TRULY recommend!!!
We ate here as a family of 5, of which 1 is a celiac.
The people working here were all very friendly and helpful and we were even offered a free sample of razor clams. In all, we had very good, fresh and juicy fried squid, grilled squid, paella with veggies and some with seafood, and to top it off a big steak. All was very filling and good. I would certainly recommend you try this restaurant.
There is no separate gluten free menu, because everything on the menu IS glutenfree.
