Food is good, but they do not have any separate prep areas for food. Their website specifically says they are not celiac friendly.
No
Ordered the Pollo bowl and had no issues afterwards. Food is okay to good, but I will give five stars because there aren’t too many GF options in the area and it’s nice to not get sick!
Love, love, love this place! We have been going here as long as I can remember, ( my family and I have been gluten free for 22+ years) and we always order either the pollo bowl or tacos al carbon no problem.
Yes
The pollo bowl is amazing!
Has a gf menu online, speaker sucks so the cashier helping us had trouble hearing us. I am also dairy free and had the pollo bowl.

They have plenty of options, one of my go-to chains.

Dedicated gluten free menu on website, not in store. Staff was not knowledgeable. But ingredients are simple and listed under each menu item.
Tasty, juicy chicken. We had the bowls. No complaints.

Picked up takeout today, first time to eat here since celiac diagnosis. Hard to find their GF info online but finally found a link after I clicked on a menu item. Warns there’s no dedicated kitchen or cross contamination protection but much of their menu is listed as GF. Chicken and most sides are on the GF list as is the milky drink horchata! Here’s the GF link as of 9-9-2022: https://www.elpolloloco.com/content/pdfs/epl_gluten_info_mod_4_2022_hr-1.pdf
