The kids meal is the same size as the regular meal so it’s not even worth spending extra money for the same portion. The employees serving the food were also eating at the same time they were handing you food. And we found breaded chicken in the french fries.

Best gluten free burger of my LIFE! The staff was extremely accommodating to our large school group as well. Manager Fadi was super kind. :) Fries are not considered gluten free due to fryers.

I forgot to feed my celiac kiddo before our zoo trip and was worried we would need to leave to get him lunch - luckily we used this app and found Elevation grill! My kid loved the GF bun which was actually grilled and combined with a nice patty, cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce and a special sauce.
Great option!
A little worried after eating this but I was starving. They said the fries and tenders are in a shared fryer, so not safe. I ate only a burger on a gf bun, and my kid’s applesauce. I asked for my fries on a separate container for my kid to eat.

The GF bun and food were good. They told me they didn’t have gf tenders or fries that day. I did eat some of the regular fries and didn’t have a reaction, but I’m not celiac. They have dairy free cheese slices and ice cream they make into shakes with almond milk.

Did not feel safe eating at this location and hoping I’m not sick in the morning (my symptoms take about 12 hours to appear). Staff not knowledgeable and despite conflicting reviews on site, I was informed fries were made in a shared fryer with gluten. I had a burger on a GF bun only.

They had good food. They were out of the GF tenders but the grilled tenders were good. They seem to have decent procedures. Prices are high but to be expected in the zoo. The wait for food was pretty long.

The person taking my order said their fries were not gf and they wouldn’t change gloves before making me chicken tenders. Frustrating experience bc they have such good gf options but if staff aren’t trained to accommodate so that I don’t get sick, then I’m not even ordering.

Look up the location on the Elevation burger website for menu details. GF bun was soft - kids enjoyed their meals. GF chicken tenders, and fries. Counter service with indoor/outdoor seating.

At the National zoo looking for food. Pleasantly surprised to find that the Elevation Burger has GF buns (udis we think) and fries are GF and fried with chicken tenders which are coated in a GF batter. So kids chicken tenders and fries are also GF.

I had a cheeseburger (made with dairy-free Daiya cheese) and a side of fries. It was incredible! The best gluten-free burger I’ve ever had, and some of the best fries I’ve ever tasted too! The best part is, I didn’t get glutened! I felt totally safe, the girl taking my order (who’s also gluten-free) made a note to keep my order gluten-free and ensure there was no cross-contact. I will definitely be coming back and plan on trying the dairy-free milkshake next time. Apparently, they even have gluten-free Oreos that they can add!

So surprised to find this right off I95. Organic grass fed beef and gluten free buns or paleo option in a lettuce wrap. What a find and it was inside a gas station!! Burger was good and all precautions were taken. Love it!!

We have been many times now. I always get the grass fed burger as a lettuce wrap with loads of toppings and my son gets the GF bun. Fries are in olive oil in a GF fryer. When you mention celiac they take extra care to change gloves, etc.

Not safe for GF. I asked for gluten-free for allergy. They had no idea what I asked for. They handled the buns for the order after mine, then got my lettuce out. Put my lettuce on the buns, then moved the buns over. Did not wipe anything down. I cannot eat this, they do my understand why I am upset, I never got my burger, and they won’t give me a refund. Don’t eat here if cross-contamination matters. Also have plenty of time available. A woman came in after me and asked where to pickup online orders. The employee looked at her blankly and said, “we have online ordering?”
