Review of Ember

Not as celiac friendly as prior reviews suggested. Disappointed with attention to detail. Papadoms weren't fried in a dedicated fryer; server said it was "fine though as long as you're not celiac". Soup came with grilled cheese croutons on it even though it was explicitly discussed with the server that it needed to be gluten free. There was a GF menu, but the options were limited and the server didn't know if the soy sauce was GF. Beyond this, the food was not that great. The chef seemed amateur with all 4 dishes we tried lacking much flavor. The selection of white wine was also quite limited. The ambience, however, was nice and the staff was very friendly and attempted to be accommodating. And I did not get glutened, so they did at least do a good job of that, with some due diligence required on my end.
