Review of Escalante Mercantile

The Mercantile is a cute little spot that surprisingly carried a lot of GF products as well as baking items. They had frozen meat but not fresh, they do have fresh produce. But the biggest surprise was they were able to accommodate a GF sandwich for breakfast. They heat up the bread in the microwave, so they don’t toast it. I asked them to bag it separate for me. I tested ‘the carnivore’ with my Nima Sensor and it was all GF (in this small town it was to my surprise)! It was good, nothing mind blowing but to be accommodated for hot breakfast in this tiny town while passing through on a hiking trip was incredible! I did not ever get sick either, total success! Support this store if you can!
