Incredible food and service! What a gem in Lubbock, I'll happily live on brisket and cheesecake every time I visit this town.

My family recently had Evie Mae’s cater a large event. My kids have celiac and another family member is gluten sensitive. The food was incredible! My favorites were the sausage, cornbread, and chocolate pie. It was also significant that we were able to have a fully inclusive family gathering! This is seriously great bbq and “fixins” that happen to also be GF and celiac safe! Highly recommend this place to anyone, not just those who require GF.

Excellent BBQ, sides and desserts!! The owner is gluten free and understands all of the issues involved for celiac disease. They changed gloves in front of us and were very mindful. 99% of the menu is GF.

Great Bar-B-Que and all gluten free except the bread and buns. Even desserts are gluten free. Waiting for Lent when they will start serving gluten free fried catfish on Fridays.

Everything is delicious and haven’t had any reactions to the food. It’s a regular rotation for me from the United location. Love the burnt ends, turkey and cornbread.

LOVE this place! I wasn’t expecting to be able to eat much, but the chef is celiac so everything is gluten free! The barbecue sauce, all desserts, and the cornbread are all GF! The jalapeño cornbread, and the cocoanut meringue pie were excellent. Highly recommend! (Go early, because it’s busy and they are only open till they run out!) Did not have any reaction!!

Celiac chef, so everything other than beer and bread is GF, including the jalapeño cheddar cornbread and all of the desserts. Brisket was good, but we’ve had better. The smoked jalapeño sausage was excellent and each of the gf desserts held up to the “real deal” according to the non celiac in our group. Key lime pie had a silky texture, pecan pie was just the right ratio of pecans to syrup and the Texas sheet cake was spongy and light.

Today was the first time in years that I went to a restaurant and was completely safe to eat because it was all Gluten free. I found them on Find Me Gluten free and I thought ok they will have 1 or 2 things but no from the line I was assured that everything but the loaf bread was safe. Evie Mae’s Pit Barbecue Wolfforth, Tx- p.s. there staff was so nice.

So many options! My new favorite place EVER!
Yes
Super good brisket and ribs. Kitchen is gluten free. Plenty of gluten free dessert options. Regular white bread available at pickle bar. Get there early if you don’t want to wait in line.

The owner is celiac so everything is gluten free, all the desserts are too! They do offer regular bread and free beer to everyone else, but it’s kept out of the kitchen and away from serving areas. Food is excellent! Everything is delicious 😋 Update: open Sundays now! So good! Will be ordering thanksgiving pies and birthday cakes from here now!
Yes
They are not open Sunday, Monday or Tuesday and the other days until they are sold out. Call before you drive there! Didn’t get to taste the food so I have no idea if it’s good or not.
100% gluten free. Amazing meats. Great bbq sauce. All meat, desserts and sides and the cornbread are GF like another user said. Their dessert menu is huge. Highly recommended
Friendly and delicious! Love that all sides and desserts are gluten free!
The owner has celiac, so everything is gluten free with the exception of bread for the sandwiches. Sides and desserts galore!

Everything gluten free but bread. Good size portions. Get there early the brisket sells out fast. Turkey was fresh and moist. Texas sheet cake was delicious. Highly, highly recommend. Update: went back again the next day, had pork ribs and burnt ends. Best ribs I’ve had. Also had cheesecake. Very yummy!!!

They are true to their word. Gluten free all the way! Who wants to fill up with bread anyway with food this good!!!
The food is amazing! No one seems to care that it is gluten free except those of us that have to eat that way. It is not inexpensive, but it is delicious. 0

The food is amazing and entire menu is gluten free, other than the sandwich bread. Make sure to save room for dessert, all are gluten free and delicious! Make sure to get there early, they can sale out quick (Wednesday-Saturday).

The owner has celiac and the food is delicious. The only thing not gluten free is the loaf bread. All of the desserts are gluten free! They have cobbler, pecan pie etc. do not pass this up if you get the chance!
Yes
The food is AMAZING and I felt so at ease that I was safe from a Celiac stand-point. The entire kitchen is GF! Only the white bread and buns are non GF and don't enter the ktichen. They change gloves and take precautions if you are GF. The pecan pie is SO delicious and so is the banana pudding! All GF! I plan to go back tomorrow (visiting family in Lubbock). Definitely go! It's just fantastic 😊

This place is the best ever. The owner has celiac so everything except the buns are gluten free. The desserts are great! It's on my way home from school so sometimes I take it home and use my own bun!
felt safe eating here! amazing brisket, cornbread, and desserts!! I asked multiple workers and they all said the only thing with gluten in the facility is sliced bread. All desserts were gluten free (pecan pie, strawberry pie, sheet cake, banana pudding, bread pudding, coconut cream pie). The only downside is you have to be prepared to wait. The line was extremely long when we got there 11:05am and it took over an hour to order. still worth the trip!!
