When I asked about gluten-free options and mentioned celiac, they went straight into action: they knew exactly what the condition was and meant, had dedicated separate gluten-free crusts, carefully wiped down the preparation surface, pulled cheese and other toppings from a special separate refrigerator, and gave our pizzas their own pans to go through the conveyer belt oven. Very confidence-inspiring, I almost teared up that they showed so much care! My son enjoyed his pizza and felt great afterwards.
They have a gluten free crust option (cauliflower crust). It’s definitely a healthy cauliflower crust, and doesn’t try to imitate a regular pizza crust, but it’s good. Their salads are all really fresh and yummy too.
I let them know I had a severe “allergy” and asked what measures they take to prevent cross contact. They said they’d sanitize the prep area and the pans and use fresh bins of ingredients but let me know the oven is shared. I watched as they made it, they changed gloves and cleaned and used different bins for the toppings and ingredients. I appreciated their efforts and felt safe eating it. Obviously it’s not a dedicated gf place, there’s always a risk in eating out, but the employees were happy to go the extra mile to prepare my food safely for me.
I’m Gluten Sensitive- Ordered the Devil’s Wing pizza on a weekday at closing time on a GF cauliflower crust. It was sooooooo delicious!
Amazing location, service is super cool. They literally cut up greens and avocados 🥑 fresh in front of us and served!
They cleaned up the grill/ oven specifically for me, mention to them that you’re celiac. I’m not celiac I think, but my body reacts in 15 min of eating gluten and I didn’t get a reaction here. Make sure to visit Mellow mushroom which is right across the street for GF BBQ wings and their certified GF pizza!
Tip- fold two slices cauliflower pizza like a wrap and it’s delish!
