The resort is gorgeous!!! But, the most important part of our trip was making sure our daughter who has celiac disease could safely eat at the resort restaurants. We had researched ahead of time, but at check in we asked about gluten free dining and the concierge informed us to just let the servers know at each restaurant and it would be taken care of. Let me tell you, we have never experienced such professional, well trained chefs here in the US. I had read about Chef Gibran in another review and asked for him when we arrived at the first restaurant. He was just fantastic. He made our trip so easy. He told us what our daughter could eat, what he could make special for her, etc. All the servers were so educated on gluten free dining, all the food was prepared safely. At Rosato Restaurant, Rudi and Nayeli were so amazing. They were friendly, attentive, just wonderful. Carina was the chef there that night and she was also great. Overall during the trip, my daughter was able to eat a customized omelettes, freshly made GF french toast, most seafood dishes, most meat dishes, sushi, hamburger, pasta. There were not many GF bread options...just a corn muffin which she didn't like. Dessert options were limited, but she was happy to have ice cream. The sushi restaurant was out of GF soy sauce, but luckily I had packed some packets for her.
